河南农村60岁以上老年人健康期望寿命研究

目的:了解农村老年人功能健康水平、特征及功能丧失的原因,并对健康期望寿命指标及研究方法应用于农村老年人健康状况和生活质量评价的可行性进行初步探讨。方法:通过对新乡县60岁以上农村老年人的调查,借鉴国外老年人功能测量和健康期望寿命研究方法,以日常生活活动(ADL)丧失为健康期望寿命的判定终点,计算了河南农村60岁以上老年人的健康期望寿命。结果:60~64岁组老年人群的平均预期寿命为13.5岁,其中男性为13.4岁,女性为14.0岁。健康期望寿命为12.6岁,男性为12.7岁,女性为13.0岁。结论:用健康期望寿命评价老年人的生命质量是一种相对比较理想的计算方法。

Study on active life expectancy of the elderly aged of sixty years and over in rural area in Henan

Objective : This article is to discuss the feasibility of the use of the data about ALE (active life expectancy) and its research method on evaluating functional health and life quality of the elderly population in rural area in Henan province. Methods : We calculated active life expectancy (ALE) and life expectancy of disability (LED) , regard age of disability of ADL (Activity of daily living) as end point, by making use of the foreign research method of function measurement and ALE, based on investigating the aged above 60 years in rural area in Xingxiang county. Results: The average life expe ctan-cy of the population at 60 - 64 years old is 13.5 years, 13.4 years for the male and 14.0 years for the female. The ALE is 12.6 years, 12.7 years for the male and 13.0 years for the female. Conclusion : It is an ideal method to evaluate life quality of the elderly population by ALE.
