| Abstract: | s A new azafluorenone(onychine) alkaloid, 6,7 dimethoxy 5 hydroxy onychine, and four known alkaloids, liriodenine, cyathocaline, isooncodine and darienine, were isolated from %Alphonsea monogyma%, by alcohol percolation and silica gel column chromatography. Their structures were elucidated on the basis of spectral evidence. |
