| Abstract: | Insufficiency fractures of the sacrum are not uncommon. Shared imaging features on radionuclide bone scan, CT, and MR images
include linear vertical abnormalities, and unilateral or bilateral distribution. This pattern may be considered sufficiently characteristic to allow
a confident correct diagnosis to be made. Radiologists need to have a greater awareness of this condition. |
