Abstract:The genus Paris is an important medicinal group, which has recently attracted extensive attention in molecular biology research. It is not only of great scientific significance, but also of great economic and ecological value to carry out the research on genus Paris medicinal plants. Herein, the molecular markers, molecular identification, phylogeny, genealogy, transcriptomics, proteomics, and functional genes were summarized in this study. Moreover, the problem needing to be solved of the genus Paris were discussed. The aim of the present study was to provide the scientific reference for the development of the genus Paris.
