Abstract:The expression of heat shock protein 27 (Hsp 27) in breast cancers correlates with stage of disease, the lower the stage the higher the expression, and with the presence or absence of lymph node metastases; lymph node negative patients being more likely to express Hsp 27 (P<0.04).
