| Abstract: | The aqueous extract of ASPARAGUS COCHINCHINENSIS yielded a new oligofurostanoside 3- O-alpha- L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1-->4)-beta- D-glucopyranosyl]-26- O-(beta- D-glucopyranosyl)-(25 R)-furosta-5,20-diene,-3beta,26-diol as well as two known furostanosides, methylprotodioscin and pseudoprotodioscin. |
