| Abstract: | This article presents the important anatomic features of the shoulder joint and the abnormalities to which the athlete is most susceptible leading to pain and disability. It also reviews the pertinent elbow anatomy and discusses the radiographic techniques currently employed in diagnosing elbow problems in the athlete, including tomography, arthrography, and computed tomography. |
