Study on the relationship of tumor necrosis factor-α,renin-angiotensin system and insulin resistance in patients receiving mechanical ventilation

Objective To search for the relationship between tumor necrosis factor-α,Renin-Angiotensin system and mechanical ventilation patient who has suffered from insulin resistance(IR).Methods Total of 20 cases were selected which mechanical ventilation patient in ICU of emergency department,all the patients who have been chosen haven’t suffered from diabetes mellitus,or any general disease of heart,liver,kidney.Offering FPG,TNF-α,FISN,Renin,ANG-Ⅱand ALD on the 3rd day of mechanical ventilation.Results TNF-α,FPG,FISN,ISI,Renin,ANG-Ⅱ,ALD in the blood serum of mechanical ventilation patient were all higher than the normal group and there were statistical difference significance(P<0.01).TNF-α,FPG,FISN were showing positive correlation and there were statistical difference significance(P<0.05).TNF-α,ISI were showing negative correlation.Renin,ANG-Ⅱ,ALD were showing positive correlation and there were statistical difference significance(P<0.01).Conclusion Glycometabolism and IR are exist after mechanical ventilation has been given to patient and it may has some connections with TNF-αand RAS system activation.
