人血清过氧化脂质与维生素E、C含量关系初探

本文观测了222名不同年龄组健康成人血清过氧化脂质(LPO)水平及维生素E、C(V_E,V_C)含量,并对两者关系进行了探析。结果表明:健康成人血清LPO水平随增龄而上升,性别上无显著差异,以上结果与文献报道相符,支持衰老与自由基形成有关的论断。血清V_E及V_C含量未见随增龄而下降,并都有不同程度的增高。提示增龄时LPO开始增高的原因并非抗氧化剂缺乏。作者注意到,虽然不同年龄组健康人血清LPO水平差异明显,但LPO/V_E+V_C却无显著差别。故认为此一比值可反映体内过氧化与抗氧化两系统间的基本关系,进而推测:如该比值明显增大,极可能暗示有病理状态存在。同时也提示随着增龄适量补充抗氧化剂的重要性。鉴于LPO与多种疾病有关,我国人正常值报道少而差异大,故LPO水平及LPO/V_E+V_C有必要进一步观测。

PRELIMINARY OBSERVATION ON THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN LIPID PEROXIDE AND V_E,V_C LEVELS IN HEALTHY ADULTS'''' SERUM

Estimations of the serum lipid peroxide (sLPO) andvitamins E, C (VE, Vt) levels in 222 cases of healthy adults atdifferent age groups have been made. The results have shown that thesLPO levels increased with aging and no sex difference of sLPO levelhave been observed. These support the hypothesis of senility beingrelated to the formation of free radicals. The results suggest thatthere was no decrease of serum VE and VC levels with advancing ages,and the two vitamin contents appeared to be somewhat elevated. Theseindicate the initial increase of sLPO level with aging might not becaused by the deficiency of antioxidant. We have noted the differenceof LPO/VE + V_C ratios between mean No. of each two groups is notsignificant. We consider that this ratio may reflect the basic relation-ship between peroxidation and antioxidation. If the ratio get a raise,it may indicate a presence of pathological state. The results alsosuggest that a suitable replenishing of antioxidant with advancing ageswill be essential. On account of the significance of LPO to the diseasesand the rare report of sLPO normal values in China, especially inLPO/VE + V_C ratio, but for which, the further studies are needed.
