| 摘 要： | Severe Combined Immunodeficiency (SCID) mice were maintained In a plastic film isolator in which specific-pathogen-free (SPF) condition was kept. Their average Utter size was 3.4, non-productive rate 27.2%, and weaned-to-bom ratio 73. 5%. Thymus glands of SCID mice were found to consist of a rudimentary medulla without cortex, and to contain few lymphocytes. Spleen follicles were empty, virtually devoid of lymphocytes. Lymph nodes had no clear cortex, totally appeared to be empty with few lymphocytes. Lymphoid tissues in submucosa of intestines were undeveloped. Circulating lymphocytes only comprised a small fraction of total leukocytes of peripheral blood(10-24%). Possible uses of SCID mice were discussed.
