Abstract:The effect of micro--phase separation and location of sulfoalkyl pendantgroups on the properties of biomedical segmented polyetherurethanes (SPEU) were studied.Two series of SPEUs containing sulfooctyl pendant groups exactly located at the hard segments or sort segments with well defined fine structures were synthesized. The fine structuresof all samples were verified by FTIR,TEM and dynamic mechanical analysis. The anticoagulant properties or such ion - containing SPEUs were improved,and its relationships to thefine structures were discussed.
