| Abstract: | The paper introduces a microstrip applicator for treatment or prostatitisand kypertrophy or prostate via rectum. The principle or the applicator, the theoreticalcalculation or near field distribution of the applicator covered with a lossy dielectric, theperformance or the impedance matching and the heating pattern or the applicator andthe clinical results are reported. |
