| Abstract: | Nerve conduction studies provide unique quantitative information about neurological function in patients with a variety of neuromuscular disorders. This article emphasizes the need for careful selection of the appropriate procedures, informed interpretation of the data, and correlation of the results with the clinical information about each individual patient's problem, in order to obtain the maximum possible value from the investigation. |
