| Abstract: | This paper presents some considerations the use of Radix Astragli on the basis of its clinical application. It is thus believed that reduction analysis and holism in traditional Chinese medicine have obvious limitations; and the combination between reductionism and holism may be the best way to modernize traditional Chinese medicine. |
