冕宁县麻风病防治与综合卫生服务相结合试点分析

目的探索新形势下如何充分利用现有卫生资源开展麻风病防治早期发现与治疗患者，预防畸残。方法通过对现有乡、村医生进行麻风病防治和技能培训，普及麻风病知识。结果知晓率：项目开展前群众为26％，学生为30％，项目开展后群众达到67％，学生达到90％。5年共计新发现25例（多菌型19例，少菌型6例），14岁以下儿童1例。康复工作：为48人作了69例矫形手术。结论通过对基层医务人员麻风病防治知识培训，提高了的诊断技能，患者得到及时发现与治疗。

Integrating Leprosy Service Into General Health Service: A Pilot Study in Mianning County, Sichuan Province

Objective To study the new approach for leprosy control under the low endemic situation for the purpose of improving the awareness of leprosy among general population and reducing discrimination ＆ stigma in order to detect and treat leprosy cases early and prevent disability. Methods To train general health staff at township and village level on leprosy control and to educate general population on leprosy. Results The awareness of leprosy increased from 26% before project to 67% after project among general population and from 30% to 90% among school children. A total of 25 leprosy cases （19 MB, 6 PB） were detected in five years among which one case was a child under 14. A total of 69 preventive and reconstructive surgeries were carrie（ out among 48 PALs during the project. Conclusions The diagnose of leprosy case was improved through training general health staff at township and village level on leprosy. The leprosy cases were found and treated in time.
