Abstract: | Five hundred and nineteen cases of supraventricular tachycardia(SVT )were treated by radiofrequency current ablation(RFCA) with a total success rate of 95.0%,Among them,379 cases of SVT were caused by atri oventricular accessory pathway(AP),375 APs were successfully ablated with the success rate of 97.7%(375/384);In 134 patients with atrioventricular nodal reentrant tachycardia(AVNRT),the solw pathways were successfully abolished in 94.7% of them(126/133 cases);4 out of 6 patients(66.7%)with atrial tachycardia succeeded in RFCA. Complications occured in 8 patients. During 1~52 monthes follow-up period,SVT recured in 24 patients(4.6%)and was permanently eliminated by reapplication of RFCA. It was concluded that RFCA was a highly valuable non-drug threapy for SVT with high success rate, few complications and low recurrency rate. |
