Tungiasis: report of a case *

Abstract Tungiasis is a cutaneous infestation caused by a small flea, Tunga penetrans. Tungiasis is commonly found in the equatorial and subtropical zones. With the increase in world travel, the disease is now reported in Europe, in individuals who have visited countries where the disease is endemic.
