Abstract: | The desmoplastic ameloblastoma is a rare histologic variant of ameloblastoma. This article presents a case of desmoplastic ameloblastoma with unique and complex histologic findings. The tumor, which was located in the anterior mandible, was treated by an anterior marginal resection with preservation of the inferior border of the mandible. The clinical, radiographic, surgical, and pathologic aspects of this unusual lesion are presented, and the relevant literature is reviewed. |
