Establishment of a Follow-up Management System of Hypertension Outpatient Department in a Top Three Hospital

Objective To establish a follow-up system of hypertension clinic in our hospital and manage the hypertension patients in our hospital for a long time,so as to make clear the target rate of hypertension,compliance of medication,blood pressure control and other indicators.Methods A sample of 175 hypertensive patients from the First Affiliated Hospital of Hainan Medical College from January to December 2019 during this 12-month period(after applying the hypertension outpatient followup management system).At the same time,a sample of 175 hypertensive patients from the First Affiliated Hospital of Hainan Medical College from January to December 2018,during the same time period(before the application of the hypertension outpatient follow-up management system).Results Compared with before the application of the follow-up management system in the hypertension clinic,the rate of blood pressure reaching the standard 6 months and 12 months after the application of the followup management system in the hypertension clinic was higher(P<0.05),compared with before the application of the follow-up management system in the hypertension clinic,the rate of drinking,smoking and overweight in the hypertension patients after the application of the follow-up management system in the hypertension clinic was lower(P<0.05).The healthy living behavior was significantly improved,and the medication compliance of hypertensive patients was significantly improved(P<0.05).Compared with before the application of the follow-up management system,the systolic and diastolic blood pressure of patients with hypertension were lower(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of follow-up management system in hypertension clinic can make clear the related indexes of hypertension management,intervene the patients’blood pressure fluctuation,correct or maintain the treatment plan in time,and provide reliable reference for the treatment of hypertension and other related diseases.
