Analysis of AIDS Surveillance Results in Xingshan County,Three Gorges Reservoir Area from 2010 to 2019

Objective To understand the infection status of HIV/AIDS patients in Xingshan County,and to provide a scientific basis for the further implementation of effective intervention measures in the future.Methods The HIV serological test results from January 2010 to December 2019 in Xingshan County were summarized,and epidemiological analysis was performed.Results A total of 42091 high-risk populations were monitored in the past 10 years.A total of 35 HIV-positive cases were reported,with a positive rate of 0.083%.Sexual transmission was the main route.Blood transmission and mother-to-child transmission showed a corresponding downward trend;young alduts,males,farmers,and unemployed people were the main ones;the infected people had low educational level,mainly low-educated people,accounting for 82.86%.Conclusion HIV infection in Xingshan County of the Three Gorges Reservoir area is gradually increasing,and the situation is not optimistic.Targeted measures should be taken to increase intervention for high-risk groups to control the spread and prevalence of AIDS.
