“五脏六腑皆令人咳，非独肺也”与ALI／ARDS病因病机

《内经素问·咳论篇》中提出：“五脏六腑皆令人咳，非独肺也”。从中医理论整体观念出发，说明咳喘虽是肺脏之本病，但其它脏腑有病，传于肺，亦可以使肺的宣降功能失司，肺气不利而出现咳喘。依据本病临床表现，可从“肺气上逆”而论。从“五脏六腑皆令人咳，非独肺也”中医经典理论出发，认为ALUARDS中肺为主病之脏，脾胃运化失职，肾不纳气，大肠传导失司，反作用于肺，亦致ALI／ARDs迁延难愈。在治疗过程中，注意肺与各脏关系，以防肺及他脏之间相互影响，引发多脏器功能衰竭，方可取得良好效果。

Cough Is Related to All the Internal Organs of the Body with the Etiology And Pathogenesis of ALI/ARDS

In the medical classic of the Yellow Emperor, it has been recorded that cough is related to all the tnternal organs of the body. it means that though cough is a kind of disease occurring in lung, it can be caused by pathological changes of the other internal organs, which reflected the concept of holism in TCM.This passage starts from a classical theory in TCM that cough is related to all the tntemal organs of the body, considering that the lung is the main zang in ALI/ARDS, at the same time the spleen and stomach failing to govern transportation and transformation, the kidney failing to receive qi, the large intestine failing to transform, which reacts on the lung, leading to the delayed ALI/ARDS too.In the treatment of ALI/ARDS, the relationship between the lung and other internal organs should by considered, and avoiding the mutual influence between the lung and other internal organs, which may lead to ARDS, so that the treatment can have.a good effection.
