目的 观察氢氧化钙根管内封药对预防根管治疗期间急症的临床疗效。方法 使用氢氧化钙及传统根管内消毒药物樟脑对氯酚、甲醛甲酚根管内封药,观察疼痛指数并比较其根管治疗期间急症的发生率。结果 氢氧化钙封药后根管治疗期间急症的发生率最低,与传统药物相比,其差异有统计学意义。结论 氢氧化钙根管内封药。对预防根管治疗期间的急症有较好的作用。  相似文献

Objectives: To determine the incidence of alcohol use in subcritically injured patients presenting to the ED, by using a saliva alcohol test (SAT) at ED triage during the ED initial assessment; to compare the incidence of alcohol use revealed by the SAT with documentation of alcohol use by ED nurses and emergency physicians (EPs) blinded to the SAT results; and to describe the demographics of the SAT-positive, subcritically injured population.
Methods: A blinded, prospective, observational evaluation of ED patients presenting with subcritical injuries was performed. The patients were tested for alcohol use with an SAT, and a subsequent record review was conducted for extraction of demographic data and evidence of documentation of alcohol use by ED nurses and EPs blinded to the SAT results.
Results: During the study. 791 subcritically injured patients had SATs performed. Twenty-one percent of these patients were found to be alcohol-positive by SAT. Either the ED nurse or the EP documented a clinical impression of alcohol use for 52% of the SAT-positive patients. There were higher SAT-positive rates among men (24%), victims of assault (47%), and patients arriving at night (41%).
Conclusions: While the SAT identified 21% of the subcritically injured patient population as alcohol-positive, ED nurse and EP documentation did not identify half of these alcohol-positive patients. Many of these patients may be at risk for additional injuries related to their drinking behavior.  相似文献

目的:探讨根管治疗期间急症的防治.方法:将患牙髓炎、牙髓坏死、根尖周炎,需接受根管治疗的348例(348颗患牙)随机分成4组,分别在根管内封甲醛甲酚(FC)、奥硝唑、氢氧化钙、地塞米松-氢氧化钙,观察其根管治疗期间急性疼痛发作率.结果:奥硝唑与氢氧化钙组比较,差异无显著性(P>0.05).地塞米松-氢氧化钙组与奥硝唑组、氢氧化钙组比较,各组之间有显著差异(P<0.05),地塞米松-氢氧化钙糊剂同FC组比较具有非常显著差异(P<0.01).结论:根管内封地塞米松-氢氧化钙能较好预防和降低EIAE的发生率,并能减轻疼痛程度.  相似文献

根管治疗后出现根尖周病变或原有根尖周病变持续存在,在临床上往往被认为是根管治疗失败。对于这类根管治疗后病变的处理,首先要明确诊断,确定病因,方能为再治疗时机和方法的决策提供依据。临床上,根管治疗失败多与前次根管治疗的质量、患牙病变的性质及患牙存在伴发病变有关。本文将从上述三方面进行分析,并提出相应的处理对策,为临床医生处理根管治疗后病变提供诊断思路和再治疗方法的选择。  相似文献

在研制根管消毒药控释系统的基础上,制备一种成形根管充填材料,命名为药折控释根充尖,抑菌实验结果提示其整体型,贮库型以及与牙胶糊剂、酚醛树脂液协同使用时均可产生抑菌作用,在大中的根充尖横断面亦有明显抑菌效果,离体牙根尖孔渗出药物的高效液相色谱分析提示,其有效浓度释药时间可持续2周以上,研究证实:药物控释根充尖可望作为一种新型的根充材料用于牙髓病、尖周病的治疗。  相似文献

IntroductionThe purpose of this study was to evaluate the in vitro effect of washing and non-washing of indocyanine green (ICG) as photosensitizer (PS) on bacterial count, biofilm formation, development and degradation of Enterococcus faecalis.MethodsThe anti-bacterial, anti-biofilm formation, anti-biofilm development and biofilm degradation of anti-microbial photodynamic therapy (aPDT) against E. faecalis was determined at concentrations of 3 to 2000 μg/mL of ICG, subject to 18 J/cm2 dose of diode laser (808 nm) in washing and non-washing producers. Bacterial viability measurements and biofilm assays were evaluated by broth microdilution method and crystal violet assays, respectively.ResultsICG-mediated aPDT, using 25 to 2000 μg/mL and 50 to 2000 μg/mL showed significant reduction in E. faecalis growth when compared to the control in non-washing and washing producers, respectively (P < 0.05). Also, ICG-mediated aPDT showed a significantly inhibitory effect on biofilm formation of E. faecalis in concentration of 6 to 2000 μg/mL and 100 to 2000 μg/mL in non-washing and washing groups (P < 0.05). The biofilm development was inhibited by concentrations of 12 to 2000 μg/mL and 100 to 2000 μg/mL in non-washing and washing groups. The biofilm degradation increased from concentrations of 12 to 2000 μg/mL and 250 to 2000 μg/mL in non-washing and washing groups, respectively.ConclusionThis study shows that the application of ICG should be accompanied by laser irradiation without being washed out to achieve better result for bacterial count reduction and anti-biofilm effects.  相似文献

BackgroundEradication or suppression of microbial pathogens is a major goal in endodontic infection therapy. Sub-lethal doses of photo-activated disinfection (sPAD) as a new treatment method might be able to control the microorganisms involved in endodontic infections normally treated with PAD. This study evaluated the effect of sPAD using methylene blue (MB) in combination with diode laser irradiation on the growth and biofilm formation ability of Porphyromonas gingivalis as an endodontic pathogen.Materials and methodsThe anti-microbial and anti-biofilm potential of sPAD against P. gingivalis were assessed at sub-lethal doses of MB and irradiation by diode laser on colony forming unit and crystal violet assays, respectively.ResultsMB-sPAD using 25 μg/mL at a fluency of 117.18 J/cm2 and 50–100 μg/mL at a fluency of 93.75 J/cm2 significantly P. gingivalis growth when compared to the control. MB at 100 μg/mL at a fluency of 117.18 J/cm2 in MB-mediated PAD showed a significant inhibitory effect on biofilm formation in P. gingivalis compared with MB-sPAD.ConclusionHigh doses of MB-mediated sPAD exhibited anti-microbial and anti-biofilm potential activity, whereas lower doses of MB-mediated sPAD did not display this ability. Therefore, the dose of PAD used in vivo should be taken into account for endodontic treatment.  相似文献

BackgroundThe aim of this study was to evaluate the effects of photodynamic therapy with curcumin (PDT) comparatively to 5% sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl) and saline solution on cell viability and cytokine (IL-1β and IL-6) production by mouse fibroblasts.MethodsSixty seconds of pre-irradiation time with curcumin 500 mg/L and Led wavelength (λ) 480 nm, 72 J cm2, for 300 s was used for PDT. Solutions were diluted in culture medium DMEM (1 × 104 cells) and placed into 24-well cell culture plates with mouse fibroblasts L-929. Culture medium was used as control. After 6, 24 and 48 h, 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyl tetrazolium bromide assay (MTT) was used to evaluate the cell viability and the supernatant was collected for cytokine evaluation using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). The results were statistically analyzed by ANOVA and BonFerroni correction (p < 0.05) for MTT and Kruskal–Wallis test and Dunn (p < 0.05) for ELISA.ResultsPDT and saline solution presented low cytotoxic effect similar to the control group (p > 0.05) while 5% NaOCl was more cytotoxic than PDT (p < 0.05) in all periods of time. All materials similarly expressed IL-1β and IL-6 regardless to the experimental period (p < 0.05).ConclusionsPDT with curcumin was not cytotoxic to L929 fibroblasts differently from 5% NaOCl. In all groups occurred similar expression of IL-1β and IL-6.  相似文献

OBJECTIVE:

The purpose of this study was to estimate the prevalence of periradicular lesions in HIV-infected Brazilian patients and to assess the correlation of several factors with the periradicular status.

METHOD:

One hundred full-mouth periapical radiographs were evaluated. A total of 2,214 teeth were evaluated for the presence of periradicular lesions, caries lesions, coronal restorations, pulp cavity exposure and endodontic treatment.

RESULTS:

The prevalence of periradicular lesions was 46%. There were no significant differences between individuals with or without periradicular lesions with respect to their socio-demographic status, habits, laboratory data and route of HIV infection. However, the presence of a periradicular lesion was statistically correlated with the number of teeth with endodontic treatment (p = 0.018), inadequate endodontic treatment (p = 0.025), images suggesting pulp cavity exposure (p = 0.002) and caries lesions (p = 0.001).

CONCLUSIONS:

The prevalence of periradicular lesions in HIV-infected individuals was 46% and was not related to HIV infection.  相似文献
