酒精性肝病患者血液红细胞MCV、MCH、MCHC的变化

我国酒文化源远流长,我院用全自动检测仪检测了长期饮酒者166例红细胞MCV、MCH、MCHC3个指标,并与对照组比较,具体如下:     

Psychiatric symptoms, type A behavior, and arrhythmias following coronary bypass

One hundred four patients undergoing coronary bypass surgery were evaluated for psychiatric symptoms and their association with postoperative arrhythmias occurring within 48 hours after surgery. Patients high in type A behavior had increased risk of ventricular arrhythmias, while those scoring relatively high in depression and anxiety had fewer atrial arrhythmias than patients low in these measures. No significant association was found between postoperative arrhythmias and obesity, heavy tobacco use, or number of bypasses. A history of arrhythmias correlated significantly with postoperative arrhythmias. Anxious or depressed patients who deny their symptoms may be at increased risk for postoperative atrial arrhythmias.     

Characterisation by restriction mapping of three subtypes of molluscum contagiosum virus.

DNA from Molluscum contagiosum virus (MCV) isolates was analysed by restriction endonuclease digestion, identifying three virus subtypes. The structural features of MCV DNA are typical of poxviral DNA. Physical maps of cleavage sites for BamHI, CIaI, and HindIII were constructed for single isolates of each subtype. These differ extensively, indicating the independence of the three subtypes. However, they are closely related, as determined by molecular hybridisation and nucleotide sequence analysis, and their genomes are essentially colinear. There is marked geographical variation in the relative incidence of MCV I and II, whilst MCV III is uniformly rare.     

Clinical use of biofeedback in rehabilitation

Clinical electromyographic (EMG) biofeedback was an outgrowth of diagnostic electromyography and research on the fine control of motor units. In rehabilitation, EMG biofeedback has gained a firm place in the treatment of upper motor neuron lesions, particularly in retraining muscles and inducing relaxation of spastic muscles of stroke patients. In cerebral palsy and musculoskeletal disturbances, additional feedback transducers (e.g., electrogoniometers, pressure-sensitive and position-sensing devices) are gaining wider use. Spasmodic torticollis has proved to be particularly suitable for behavioral methods of treatment, including EMG feedback.

在迁建新业务大楼正式投入运行前,采用质量审核、试运行、目视检查等方法,分阶段确认新建血站的基础设施、设备、环境、工作流程等是否达到预期要求,探讨新血站系统化确认方法。新建或迁建后的血站在正式启用前应对其所涉及的建筑设施、设备、环境、工作流程等进行全面且系统的确认,以更好地保障血液质量与安全。     

红细胞平均体积及其分布宽度值鉴别贫血的初步研究

目的　研究用红细胞平均体积 (MCV)及红细胞体积分布宽度 (RDW )鉴别各型贫血 ,以期改进传统的贫血形态学分类方法。方法　选取患者组 2 32例及对照组 12 0例行MCV及RDW测定 ,统计出各病例组及对照组的MCV、RDW值 ,结合临床进行分析。结果　不同贫血时 ,其外周血红细胞的MCV及RDW的改变各具特征。结论　MCV、RDW诊断各类型贫血的敏感性及特异性较高 ,对贫血的鉴别诊断有较为广泛的临床应用价值。     

Remote Echography between a Ground Control Center and the International Space Station Using a Tele-operated Echograph with Motorized Probe

Echography is the most appropriate imaging modality for investigating astronauts. Unfortunately, it requires a great deal of training to perform ultrasound examinations, which can be difficult and time consuming, especially if the astronaut does not have a medical background. We designed a new echography system with motorized probes that allows for the majority of exam functions to be controlled by a ground-based sonographer. Using tele-operation, the sonographer controls the orientation of the transducer (tilt, rotation) and echograph settings (gain, depth, freeze) and triggers ultrasound functions (pulsed wave color Doppler, 3-D capture, radiofrequency data collection, elastography). With this system, astronauts are required to hold the motorized probe only at the locations indicated, with the remainder of the exam being conducted by the ground-based sonographer. During spaceflight, ultrasound imaging of the carotid artery, jugular vein, thyroid, liver, gallbladder, biliary tract and portal vein (2-D, 3-D, color, pulsed wave, radiofrequency) were successfully performed.     

More than skin deep

We present the case of a woman in her 50s with past medical history significant for psoriasis treated with methotrexate on a stable dose for the past 20?years, diabetes mellitus and chronic kidney disease. In the setting of a long flight, dehydration and non steroidal anti-inflammatory drug consumption, the patient presented to the emergency department with oral mucositis and cutaneous erosions and ulcers of the psoriasis plaques. MTX levels were normal corroborated by three different measurements in 24?h. Initially the complete blood count tests were significant for macrocytic, thrombocytopenia (82.000 10³/L) and impaired kidney function. The patient was diagnosed of acute methotrexate toxicity and started on intravenous folinic acid. In 24?h the patient developed severe pancytopenia. She required treatment with colony-stimulating factors, platelet and blood transfusions. After 10?days, the CBC improved to normal levels and the cutaneous lesions resolved.
