We have examined 6 construction workers who developed chronic skin diseases on their hands over a period of 15 years (1970–1985). 4 developed a Trichophyton rubrum infection, and the other 2 an irritant contact dermatitis. All of them carried out jobs which caused traumatization of the skin, due to the presence of ethylene glycol and mineral oils during operation of pneumatic hammers in winter. They also suffered other types of skin trauma during their work. Construction workers may be at risk of developing an occupational skin disease involving fungal infection. 相似文献

Abstract: One of the targets of modern plant physiology is to identify tools for improving seed germination and plant growth under unfavorable environmental conditions. Seeds of Brassica oleracea rubrum were pretreated with melatonin at concentrations: 1, 10, and 100 μ m using a hydropriming method. Air-dried seeds of each experimental variants that were nonpretreated (control), hydroprimed (H) or hydroprimed with melatonin (HM1, HM10, and HM100) were germinated in darkness for 3 days at 25°C. Young seedlings were then transferred to the light and grown for an additional 5 days. Both germination and growth tests were performed in water and in CuSO4 water solutions in concentrations of 0.5 and 1 m m . H, HM1 and HM10 improved seed germination both in water and in the presence of Cu2+ . One or 10 μ m melatonin eliminated the inhibitory effect of the 0.5 m m metal concentration on the fresh weight of seedlings. HM100 had a negative effect; thus seed germination was lower and seedlings had poor establishment. The toxic effect of Cu2+ manifested by membrane peroxidation and DNA endoreplication blocking in the seedlings grown from nontreated (control) and H seeds was not observed in the seedlings grown from HM1 and HM10 seeds; in contrast, HM100 enhanced the toxic effect of Cu2+ . 相似文献

目的:探讨地塞米松干预下分离自不同部位的红色毛癣菌对特比萘芬的敏感性。方法:收集不同部位红色毛癣菌共20株,其中体癣、股癣、手足癣和甲癣各5株,采用(NCCLS)M38-A方案微量稀释法,测定不含地塞米松与含不同浓度地塞米松影响下特比萘芬对红色毛癣菌的最小抑菌浓度(MIC)。结果:当地塞米松的浓度为0.05%、0.1%、0.2%时,红色毛癣菌的MIC几何均值分别为0.081μg/mL、0.092μg/mL和0.109μg/mL,与空白组比较无显著性差异(P>0.05);当其浓度为0.4%、0.8%时,红色毛癣菌的MIC几何均值分别为0.196μg/mL、0.319μg/mL,与空白组比较有显著性差异(P<0.05)。分离自四个不同部位的红色毛癣菌MIC几何均值间无显著性差异(P>0.05)。结论:当地塞米松浓度为0.4%、0.8%时可显著降低红色毛癣菌对特比萘芬的敏感性;不同部位红色毛癣菌对特比萘芬敏感性无显著性差异。 相似文献

AbstractTinea pedis, which is a dermatophytic infection of the feet, can involve the interdigital web spaces or the sides of the feet and may be a chronic or recurring condition. The most common etiological agents are anthropophiles, including Trichophyton rubrum sensu stricto, which is the most common, followed by Trichophyton interdigitale and Epidermophyton floccosum. There has been a change in this research arena, necessitating a re-evaluation of our knowledge on the topic from a multidisciplinary perspective. Thus, this review aimed to provide a solid overview of the current status and changing patterns of tinea pedis. The second half of the twentieth century witnessed a global increase in tinea pedis and a clonal spread of one major etiologic agent, T. rubrum. This phenomenon is likely due to increases in urbanization and the use of sports and fitness facilities, the growing prevalence of obesity and the aging population. For optimal patient care and management, the diagnosis of tinea pedis should be verified by microbiological analysis. In this review, we discuss the epidemiology, clinical forms, complications and mycological characteristics of tinea pedis and we highlight the pathogenesis, prevention and control parameters of this infection. 相似文献

目的:检测醇提蛇床子对红色毛癣菌的作用及其机制.方法:利用连续稀释法检测醇提蛇床子对红色毛癣菌增殖的抑制作用并计算最低抑菌浓度.利用Real-time PCR和Western印迹检测红色毛癣菌中热休克蛋白(heat shock protein,Hsp)家族蛋白的变化.结果:醇提蛇床子可以抑制红色毛癣菌的增殖.经醇提蛇床子处理的红色毛癣菌中Hsp60和Hsp90 mRNA和蛋白含量降低.结论:醇提蛇床子可以通过抑制Hsp60和Hsp90的表达抑制抑制红色毛癣菌的增殖. 相似文献
