During a survey of the parasite fauna of the euryhaline notothenioid fish Eleginops maclovinus (Cuvier) caught in brackish water creeks in the Falkland Islands, small white cysts were observed in the mesenteries and
on the surfaces of the visceral organs and heart. On dissection these proved to be plasmodia of a species of the myxosporean
genus Henneguya. This is the first record of a member of this genus from a marine or euryhaline fish in the south-west Atlantic. A comparison
of the spore of our species with other species in the genus convinced us that our species is new. This paper describes it
as Henneguya shackletoni sp. nov. after the Shackleton Fund which funded the study. 相似文献

Falcaustra papuensis sp. nov. (Ascaridida, Kathlaniidae) from the large intestine of Sphenomorphus simus (Squamata, Sciencidae) is described and illustrated. Falcaustra papuensis represents the 4th Australo-Papuan species assigned to this genus and is distinguished from other Australo-Papuan species
by the distribution pattern of caudal papillae (6 precloacal, 6 adcloacal, 8 postcloacal, and 1 median), length of spicules
(561–714 μm) and presence of a pseudosucker. Sphenomorphus simus was found to harbor 2 additional species of nematodes, Meteterakis crombiei and Oswaldocruzia bakeri. Sphenomorphus simus represents a new host record for each of these nematode species. 相似文献

Aplectana krausi sp. nov. (Ascaridida, Cosmocercidae) from the intestines of Platymantis boulengeri (Anura, Ceratobatrachidae) is described and illustrated. Aplectana krausi represents the 42nd species assigned to the genus, the 4th species reported from the Australo-Papuan region. It is easily
separated from the three species previously reported from the region by the distribution pattern of male caudal papillae:
A. macintoshii and A. novaezelandiae have irregular patterns; A. zweifeli and A. krausi have defined patterns. Aplectana zweifeli has 8–10 precloacal, no adcloacal, and 9 postcloacal pairs of papillae, there is a single median papillae just anterior to

A new species of Acanthocolpidae, Stephanostomum adlardi is described from the serranid Plectropomus leopardus from Lizard Island in the northern Great Barrier Reef. It differs from all previously described acanthocolpids in the structure
of the oral sucker which is extended into dorsal and ventral lobes each bearing a row of spines. A phylogenetic tree estimated
from combined nuclear small and partial large ribosomal RNA gene sequences shows that, despite the unusual oral sucker structure,
the species is a true member of the genus Stephanostomum. The molecular results also suggest that Monostephanostomum nolani is derived from within Stephanostomum. 相似文献

目的?摇探讨中国台湾孔头舌虫新种(Porocephalus taiwana sp. nov.)的形态与致病特征及新病种的病原学诊断方法。 方法 用患者稀便用粪便沉淀浓集法收集粪中若虫鉴定虫种,并结合临床资料作统计分析,以确定此新种所致疾病的临床特征。 结果 发现了舌形虫病的一种致病新种,即为台湾孔头舌虫,其所致的疾病称台湾孔头舌虫病。根据本例的发现,提出传统的内脏舌形虫病可分为2个亚型,成囊亚型和脱囊亚型。根据其病理学特征,本病例属于脱囊型内脏舌形虫病。 结论 描述了台湾孔头舌虫新种,其所致的台湾孔头舌虫病属于一种新型脱囊亚型性内脏舌形虫病。 相似文献
