背景 现有研究表明,抑郁是影响大学生心理健康的重要原因之一。因此,有必要采取有效的方法干预大学生抑郁情绪。目的 探究循经冥想训练干预大学生抑郁情绪的效果。方法 2018年4月,在以循经冥想课题组的名义招募的某大学本科生中,发放抑郁自评量表(SDS),筛选出自愿接受循经冥想训练的60人。根据受试者性别比例,采用随机数字表法随机分为循冥组和静息组。其中循冥组30人进行4周循经冥想训练,在开始循经冥想训练前和循经冥想训练结束后填写SDS并进行E-prime情绪图片评价任务。静息组30人进行静息训练,其余与循经冥想组相同。比较两组前测、后测及前后测差值有无差异。结果 两组前测积极、中性、消极情绪图片评分比较,差异均无统计学意义(P>0.05);两组后测积极、中性、消极情绪图片评分比较,差异均无统计学意义(P>0.05);两组积极、中性、消极情绪图片评分前测与后测差值比较,差异均无统计学意义(P>0.05)。静息组前测与后测积极、中性、消极情绪图片评分比较,差异均无统计学意义(P>0.05)。循冥组后测积极情绪图片评分低于前测、消极情绪图片评分高于前测(P<0.05)。两组前测SDS评分比较,差异无统计学意义(P>0.05)。循冥组后测SDS评分低于静息组,SDS评分前测与后测差值高于静息组(P<0.05)。循冥组和静息组后测SDS评分均低于前测(P<0.05)。结论 循经冥想能降低大学生抑郁水平,可能是由于其能够改变人的情绪认知评价和睡眠质量,使人变得平和。  相似文献

Work stress, burnout, and diminished empathy are prevalent issues for health‐care professionals. Mindfulness meditation (MM) is one commonly used strategy to manage stress. Measuring salivary cortisol allows for the assessment of serum cortisol level, a known stress level indicator. This study evaluated the association of subject‐reported stress symptoms and salivary cortisol in health‐care professionals, in an 8‐week MM program, with data collected prospectively at baseline and 8 weeks after program completion. Questionnaires [Profile of Mood States—Short Form (POMS‐SF), Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI), and Interpersonal Reactivity Index (IRI)] measured mood, burnout and empathy. A paired t‐test between groups for pre/post‐salivary cortisol yielded no significant change. The POMS‐SF was most sensitive to change (mean increase 12.4; p = 0.020). Emotional exhaustion, measured in the MBI, was also affected by MM (mean decrease 4.54; p = 0.001). Changes in empathy may not have been captured due to either absence of effect of MM on empathy, subject number or scale sensitivity. Baseline and 8‐week correlations between salivary cortisol and survey results, and correlations between changes in these measures, were weak and not statistically significant. Nevertheless, psychometric results present a strong case for additional clinical trials of MM to reduce stress for health‐care professionals. Copyright © 2005 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

Abstract

Dentally-induced stress and relaxation-induced anxiety reduction have been correlated with salivary changes in dental patients in two recent studies. In two subsequent studies, test anxiety-induced stress and relaxation-induced anxiety reduction were correlated with salivary changes in dental students. In another study using the resazurin dye indicator, increased salivary bacterial levels were correlated with an increased dental caries incidence. As a result of these findings, it was decided to reinvestigate the effects of stress and relaxation on salivary changes and in addition to examine the effects of those conditions on salivary bacteria. The hypotheses under consideration were: (1) Salivary changes from stress to relaxation will be from opaque to translucent and from high to low protein levels; and (2) salivary bacteria will increase under the condition of stress and decrease under the condition of relaxation. The subjects were twelve dental students. Stress and relaxation were evaluated before and after meditation by verbal reports and examination of saliva for opacity, translucency, protein and bacteria (resazurin dye method). There were significant anxiety-reduction changes by the end of the meditation sessions (p < 0.001) as measured by increased salivary translucency, decreased salivary protein and reduced subjective evaluation of stress. Using the resazurin dye method, bacterial levels showed a significant decrease by the end of the meditation sessions (p < 0.001). The results support hypothesis 1 and reaffirm previous findings in regard to the effectiveness of: (1) salivary changes as measures of stress and relaxation; and (2) meditation to induce deep relaxation. The finding of high bacteria levels under stress and lower bacterial levels under relaxation supports hypothesis 2 and indicates that stress may contribute to dental caries and relaxation may have an anti-caries effect.  相似文献

Mindfulness-based interventions can successfully target negative perseverative cognitions such as worry and thought suppression, but their acceptability and effectiveness in people with long-term conditions is uncertain. We therefore pilot tested a six-week meditation and mindfulness intervention in people (n = 40) with diabetes mellitus and coronary heart disease. We used a sequential mixed-methods approach that measured change in worry and thought suppression and qualitatively explored acceptability, feasibility, and user experience with a focus group (n = 11) and in-depth interviews (n = 16). The intervention was highly acceptable, with 90% completing ≥5 sessions. Meditation and mindfulness skills led to improved sleep, greater relaxation, and more-accepting approaches to illness and illness experience. At the end of the six-week meditation course, worry, and thought suppression were significantly reduced. Positive impacts of mindfulness-based interventions on psychological health may relate to acquisition and development of meta-cognitive skills but this needs experimental confirmation.  相似文献

Abstract

A previous investigation has demonstrated that the practice of a meditational technique elicits a wakeful, hypometabolic state. Measurement of O2 consumption and CO2 elimination was made by sampling techniques; mean values of these parameters were calculated from 6–10 minute samples. The present study extends this investigation, using a recently developed method of continuous measurement of O2 consumption and CO2 elimination. Continuous measurement of these parameters permitted the determination of mean values for the entire experimental periods as well as for selected intervals and permitted the examination of the sequence of respiratory changes. The present study reports statistically significant decreases in O2 consumption of 5 percent and CO2 elimination of 6 percent for the entire 20 minutes of the meditation period. These are lower than the sample values of 16 percent and 15 percent reported in the previous study. However, when selected intervals of the meditation period are examined, decreases in O2 consumption and CO2 elimination are comparable to those previously reported. The results are consistent with the difference between the discontinuous sampling measurement method originally employed and the continuous measurement method of the present investigation.  相似文献

Two Way Prayer formed an essential part of Oxford Group and early Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) spiritual practices. Pioneer AA members considered it more essential for recovery than attendance at meetings; however, it was gradually lost as a component of contemporary 12-Step programs. The article gives an overview of its history and provides a model for a more contemporary form of its practice. Initial evaluation suggests promising outcomes among a sampling of youth and adults engaged in a peer-support group for drug and alcohol recovery. The article includes a discussion of its use with individuals not having a religious conception of spirituality.  相似文献

Background:Non-pharmacological intervention methods such as rehabilitation training or psychological treatment are mostly used in the treatment of depression owing to the limitation of adverse reactions such as drug treatment. However, the best non-pharmacological treatment strategy for depression in college students is unclear. Therefore, it is significant to discover non-drug intervention methods that can improve the depression symptoms of college students.Method:Electronic databases as of Sep 15, 2019, were searched, and reference lists and pharmaceutical dossiers were reviewed to detect published and unpublished studies from the date of their inception to Sep 15, 2019. With document quality evaluations and data extraction, Meta-Analysis was performed using a random effect model to evaluate the intervention effect of the aerobic exercise, traditional Chinese exercises, and meditation.Results:A total of 44 original studies were included. The random effect model was used to combine the effect values with Standard Mean Difference (SMD), and the results were: aerobic exercise [SMD = –0.53, 95% CI (–0.77, –0.30), I2 = 80%, P < .001], traditional Chinese exercises [SMD = –0.42, 95% CI (–0.74, –0.10), I2 = 90%, P = .01], meditation [SMD = –0.51, 95% CI (–0.90, –0.12), I2 = 79%, P = .01]. There was greater heterogeneity among the included studies: aerobic exercise (I2 = 80%, P < .001), traditional Chinese medicine methods (I2 = 90%, P < .001), and meditation (I2 = 79%, P < .001).Conclusions:This study revealed that the depression symptoms of college students can be effectively improved by aerobic exercise, traditional Chinese exercises, and meditation. Aerobic exercise would have a better effect on anxiety and stress while traditional Chinese exercise would have a better effect on stress. Further research (such as high-quality randomized controlled trials and long-term follow-up) is required to evaluate the effects of aerobic exercise, traditional Chinese exercise, and meditation on the depressive symptoms of college students to further apply complementary and alternative therapies.Ethics and dissemination:The results of the effects of aerobic exercise, traditional Chinese exercises, and meditation on depressive symptoms for a college student will be reported in a peer-reviewed publication. Hopefully, our findings from this meta-analysis can provide the most up-to-date evidence for the contribution to preventing the occurrence of depressive symptoms in college students.  相似文献
