Black bone disease has been recognised as a potential consequence of long-term treatment with tetracycline antibiotics. Largely documented affecting structures in the head and skull, there are few reported cases of black bone disease in the foot and ankle. The case of a 55 years old patient, who as a teenager, had undergone treatment with minocycline hydrochloride for chronic acne, and was found to have bone discolouration consistent with minocycline induced black bone disease (MIBBD) during the course of hallux valgus corrective surgery some 40 years later, is presented. In spite of the intraoperative findings, the patient’s post-operative recovery and bone healing was uneventful. The literature on minocycline induced black bone disease is reviewed.  相似文献

目的 建立了鸡蛋样品中四环素类农药多残留同时检测的加压毛细管电色谱分析方法。方法 以二氯甲烷为沉淀剂处理鸡蛋样品,运用加压毛细管电色谱法进行快速检测。以甲醇-乙腈-20 mmol/L草酸溶液(pH=4.25)(10:20:70,v/v/v)作流动相,等度洗脱,外加电压为-4kV,检测波长为270 nm。结果 经方法学考察,4种四环素类药品土霉素、4-差向金霉素、盐酸金霉素、强力霉素在各自标准曲线浓度范围内线性良好,R2均在0.993以上。回收率为80.46%~100.49%,日内和日间精密度的相对标准偏差(RSD)均低于5%。结论 该方法简单方便,重现性好,准确可靠,回收率较高,适用于鸡蛋样品中抗生素多残留的测定。  相似文献

目的 了解目前上海分离肺炎支原体对常用抗菌药的敏感性,明确对红霉素耐药株的耐药机制.方法 采用微量稀释法测定102株肺炎支原体对大环内酯类、四环素类和氟喹诺酮类的药物敏感性.对肺炎支原体核糖体23S rRNA全序列进行扩增及测序.采用限制性片段长度多态性分析(PCR-RFLP)对肺炎支原体进行分型.结果 四环素类及氟喹诺酮类对肺炎支原体具有良好活性.肺炎支原体临床分离株对红霉素敏感性低,MIC_(50)和MIC_(90)均>128μg/ml.81.4%(83/102)临床株对红霉素耐药(MIC均>128 mg/L).红霉素耐药肺炎支原体均存在A2063G的核苷酸位点突变.85.3%(87/102)临床分离株属于RFLP 1型.结论 上海分离肺炎支原体对红霉素耐药率高,核糖体23S rRNA的A2063G核苷酸点突变是导致耐药的原因.  相似文献

目的建立化妆品中林可霉素、氯霉素、庆大霉素、四环素类抗生素及甲硝唑等13种药物的液相色谱.串联质谱检测方法。方法采用40%甲醇溶液提取化妆品中的抗生素,高速冷冻离心处理,经Ultimatex Bc18色谱柱(250mm×4.6mm,5炉1)分离,梯度洗脱,在LC-MS/MS多反应监测(MRM)模式下进行定性及定量分析。其中甲硝唑、林可霉素、庆大霉素、四环素类药物采用正离子扫描模式,氯霉素采用负离子扫描模式。结果除庆大霉素外,其余12种药物的定量限为:0.2~5mg·kg^-1,在0.04~20mg·kg^-1范围内,3个添加水平的平均回收率为76.0%~112.2%,相对标准偏差(RSD,n=6)为4.O%一23.2%。结论该方法可快速、准确地对化妆品中的抗菌药物残留进行定性和定量测定。  相似文献

Semi-synthetic tetracyclines are commonly used antibiotics that also seem to play an important role in the modulation of the immuno-inflammatory imbalance, verified in several bone diseases. The association of a therapeutic agent (that prevents bacterial infection and induces tissue formation) to a biomaterial aiming to repair/regenerate bone defects could contribute to a more predictable clinical outcome. The present study intends to evaluate the proliferation and functional activity of osteoblast-induced human bone marrow cells, cultured on the surface of hydroxyapatite (HA) and Bonelike®, in the presence of therapeutic concentrations of doxycycline and minocycline. First passage bone marrow cells were cultured for 35 days on the surface of HA and Bonelike® discs, in the absence or presence of 1 μg ml−1 doxycycline and minocycline. Cultures performed in standard tissue culture plates were used as control.

Doxycycline or minocycline induced cell proliferation and increased the extent of matrix mineralization in osteoblastic cell cultures established in the three substrates. Also, an improved biological behavior was verified in seeded Bonelike® compared with HA. The results suggest that the local delivery of tetracyclines might associate the antimicrobial activity in implant-related bone infection with an eventual induction of osteoblastic proliferation and maintenance of the characteristic biological activity of these cells.  相似文献

Loxoscelism is caused by envenomation by spiders from Loxosceles genus. Clinical symptoms only appear a few hours after envenomation and can evolve in local reactions, such as dermonecrosis, and systemic reactions, such as intravascular haemolysis, intravascular coagulation and renal failure. Current therapies are not effective, often not based in scientific research and can be even detrimental. A lack of understanding of the mechanism of action of the venom of the Loxosceles spider had thus far prevented development of effective therapies. In this review we aim to give an overview of our contributions to the understanding of the mechanism of action of the Loxosceles venom and propose targets and therapeutics for medical intervention.  相似文献

Summary The disposition of minocycline, tetracycline, doxycycline and oxytetracycline was investigated in four male volunteers after multiple dosing. Values for half life, renal clearance and volume of distribution were calculated and corrected for plasma protein binding. Tetracycline and oxytetracycline have a much larger volume of distribution than minocycline and doxycycline but similar half lives. They give higher tissue levels for equivalent plasma levels. Since their cost per unit dose is much lower they should be the tetracyclines of first choice.  相似文献
