研究背景 轮状病毒性胃肠炎是婴幼儿期最常见腹泻疾病之一。国内外对轮状病毒中枢神经及肺部感染告道甚少。 研究方法 用电镜、免疫电镜、酶联免疫吸附与阻断试验确诊轮状病毒中枢神经及肺部感染。 研究结果 200例轮状病毒性胃肠炎患儿中,并发轮状病毒性脑膜炎一例,轮状病毒性肺炎2例,其中1例同时合并胸膜炎、胸腔积液。 结论 轮状病毒中枢神经及肺部感染预后良好。 相似文献

In a 12 month survey of infants and children with gastroenteritis admitted to Fairfield Hospital, Melbourne, rotavirus was found in approximately 42% of patients. This virus was detected more often during the winter months, particularly in children aged between 12 months and 3 years. Detection of rotavirus by electron microscopy was found to be more sensitive than by counterimmunoelectrophoresis. Routine bacterial and viral studies revealed that bacterial pathogens and common enteric viruses were associated with relatively few cases of gastroenteritis. There is little doubt that rotavirus is the most important aetiological agent of acute gastroenteritis in yvirus is the most important aetiological agent of acute gastroenteritis in young children in Melbourne. 相似文献

A solid-phase radioimmunoassay (RIA) has been developed for the detection of human rotavirus-specific IgA, IgG, and IgM antibodies. Nebraska calf diarrhea virus grown in LLC-MK2 cell cultures in the presence of trypsin was directly adsorbed onto polystyrene balls, and antibodies that attached to the virus-coated balls were detected by subsequent binding of 125I-labeled antibodies specific to human alpha, gamma or mu chains of human Iga, IgG, or IgM immunoglobulins. A total of 116 serum specimens from 58 adult patients were tested. Binding ratios between the positive and the negative serum varied between 5 and 15, occasionally being 20 or more in the IgA and IgG assays, but rarely exceeding 3 in the IgM assay. The RIA was found to be more sensitive in detecting antibodies to rotavirus than the complement fixation (CF) test, the RIA titers obtained being 50--100 times as high as the CF titers. The method described offers a possibility of evaluating the immune response to human rotavirus and of detecting recent infection. 相似文献

Four human group C rotaviruses were detected in Tokyo in 1987 and 1988 during a survey over 7 years. Among the four rotaviruses, two electrophoretic patterns were indicated by polyacrylamide gel electrophoretic (PAGE) analyses. Clinical symptoms, signs, family history, and patients' ages varied. Group C rotaviruses were found also in other parts of Japan in 1988. It was suspected that group C rotaviruses would continue to spread throughout Japan within the near future. 相似文献

Adenoviruses in faeces of children with acute gastroenteritis in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil 总被引:8,自引:0,他引:8
Faeces from 746 children less than 5 years old with acute gastroenteritis were screened for the presence of adenovirus particles or antigens by immunoelectron microscopy (IEM) and enzyme immunoassay (EIA). Thirty-five samples were positive by both IEM and EIA, two only by IEM, and two only by EIA, giving a total of 39 (5.2%) samples with positive results. Of these, 25 could be propagated in HEp2 cells and were neutralized by one of the antisera to adenovirus types 1 to 18. The remaining 14 samples could be propagated only in the 293 permanent line of human cells transformed by adenovirus type 5 DNA [Graham et al, 1977] and were not neutralized by antisera to adenovirus types 1 to 31. An EIA carried out by the antibody-capture technique, using antiserum specific for "enteric" adenoviruses [Johansson et al, 1979], gave positive results with all isolates that could be propagated only in 293 cells and with none of those capable of growing in HEp2 cells. 相似文献

The genetic diversity of enteric viruses co-circulating in a cohort of patients with viral gastroenteritis in a large tertiary paediatric hospital in London, UK, was determined. Multiple strains of noroviruses (NV), sapoviruses (SV) and astroviruses (HAsV) were detected in these patients, indicating the likelihood of multiple introductions from different sources, possible sub-clinical infections and simultaneous infection with different viruses in immunocompromised and other patients. 急性胃肠炎指胃肠黏膜急性炎症,多表现为腹泻、腹痛、呕吐、发热等,甚者可出现脱水、电解质紊乱、休克等,危及生命。其发病机制尚不完全清楚,认为可能与感染、炎症、肠道菌群、黏膜屏障、免疫功能等有关。现代医学治疗胃肠炎虽能控制病情,但易致胃肠损伤,存在不良反应。中医在提高疗效,降低不良反应方面有着独特的优势。急性胃肠炎属中医“泄泻”“霍乱”范畴,其中湿热内蕴型为其典型病机之一。葛根芩连汤出自《伤寒论》,是张机治疗湿热下利的经典方剂,具有清热化湿、厚肠止利之效。通过文献梳理发现,该方治疗胃肠炎的机制主要与防止病原体侵害、减少炎症反应、调节肠道菌群、改善黏膜屏障、抑制胃肠运动、增强免疫功能等有关。结合胃肠炎的发病机制,对葛根芩连汤的临床应用、作用机制等方面进行综述,以期为其临床治疗胃肠炎提供新依据。 相似文献

Invasive non-typhoidal Salmonella (iNTS) serovars, especially Salmonella Typhimurium (ST) and Salmonella Enteritidis (SE), cause gastroenteritis worldwide. Due to the emergence of multi-drug resistance in iNTS, a broad-spectrum vaccine is urgently needed for the prevention of iNTS infection. Currently, there is no effective licensed vaccine against iNTS available in the market. We have formulated an outer membrane vesicles (OMVs) based bivalent immunogen as a vaccine candidate to generate broad-spectrum protective immunity against both recently circulating prevalent ST and SE. We have isolated OMVs from ST and SE and formulated the immunogen by mixing both OMVs (1:1 ratio). Three doses of bivalent immunogen significantly induced humoral immune responses against lipopolysaccharides (LPSs) and outer membrane proteins (OMPs) as well as a cell-mediated immune response in adult mice. We also observed that proteins of OMVs act as an adjuvant for generation of high levels of anti-LPS antibodies through T cell activation. We then characterized the one-day old suckling mice model for both ST and SE mediated gastroenteritis and used the model for a passive protection study. In the passive protection study, we found the passive transfer of bivalent OMVs immunized sera significantly reduced ST and SE mediated colonization and gastroenteritis symptoms in the colon of suckling mice compared to non-immunized sera recipients. The overall study demonstrated that OMVs based bivalent vaccine could generate broad-spectrum immunity against prevalent iNTS mediated gastroenteritis. This study also established the suckling mice model as a suitable animal model for vaccine study against iNTS mediated gastroenteritis. 相似文献
