隐睾患儿血清FSH、LH、T水平及其临床意义   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2  
目的研究隐睾患儿血中促卵泡激素(FSH)、促黄体激素(LID和睾酮(T)激素水平变化,探讨其临床意义及在隐睾症发病中的作用。方法应用化学发光免疫技术检测42例隐睾症和23例斜疝(对照组)患儿血清FSH、LH、T水平。结果单侧隐睾症组和斜疝组之间血清FSH、LH和T水平无显著性差异(P>0.05);(2)双侧隐睾组血清FSH水平高于斜疝组,差别有统计学意义(P<0.05);单侧隐睾症组血清FSH高于斜疝组,低于双侧隐睾症组,差别无统计学意义(P>0.05)。结论(1)血清中性激素LH和T水平的变化在隐睾发生中并不起主要作用;(2)血清FSH水平的升高可能反映睾丸功能损害严重程度。  相似文献

HtrA2 is up-regulated in the rat testis after experimental cryptorchidism   总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3  
AIM: The aim of the present study was to elucidate the role of high temperature requirement A2 (HtrA2) in germ cell loss in the heat-stressed testis. METHODS: We examined the expression of HtrA2, caspase-9 activity and proteolytic activity of HtrA2 in the rat testis, and their in vivo responses to experimental cryptorchid treatment. RESULTS: Northern analysis revealed the expression of HtrA2 mRNA peaked at days 1 and 7 after cryptorchid treatment. While expression of HtrA2 mRNA was seen in the spermatogonium, spermatocytes and some spermatids in normal adult rat testis, experimental cryptorchidism treatment resulted in a marked increase in its signal intensity in spermatocytes and some spermatids, and the layers of spermatogonium and early primary spermatocytes became negative at days 1 and 7 after the treatment. However, the spermatogonium, Sertoli cells and interstitial cells appeared to have strong intensities at days 14, 28 and 56 after the treatment. Western analysis revealed the expression of HtrA2 protein peaked at day 2 coinciding with the increase of positive spermatogonium, the appearance of protein-positive interstitial cells, and day 28 coinciding with the reappearance of protein-positive interstitial cells. Caspase-9 activity peaked at day 2 and HtrA2 proteolytic activity peaked at day 28. Consequently, the first peak of HtrA2 mRNA expression was followed by the peak of caspase-9 activity and the second peak was followed by the peak of proteolytic activity; however, the second peak of mRNA expression had considerable chronological difference from that of the protein. CONCLUSION: These findings suggest the probabilities that the heat stress results in germ cell death by a caspase-independent manner with the elevation of HtrA2 proteolytic activity, as well as a caspase-dependent manner with the elevation of caspase-9 activity.  相似文献

Testicular development was studied in prepubertal boys with retractile testes. Testicular volume, the diameter of the seminiferous tubules and the number of spermatogonia in the tubules were decreased in cases of unilateral retractile testis, when compared with values for the contralateral normally descended testis. On the other hand, in patients with a unilateral retractile testis and contralateral inguinal testis, there was no difference in the developmental parameters between the two testes. These results suggest that the retractile testis has developmental failures characteristic of a cryptorchid testis and therefore requires orchiopexy.  相似文献

Cryptorchidism and hypospadias share possible risk factors, such as intrauterine growth retardation. According to the data collected by the International Clearinghouse for Birth Defects Monitoring Systems (ICBDMS), apparently increasing trends in the incidence of hypospadias were found in Sweden during the 1960s, and in Norway, Denmark, England and Hungary during the 1970s. In Norway and Denmark, the increase continued in the 1980s, while in the USA it has continued from the 1970s to the 1990s. Finland has shown a lower reported rate of hypospadias than other Nordic countries. However, it is difficult to make comparisons between countries because of variable inclusion criteria. Furthermore, the reliability of the data depends on correct ascertainment and reporting of the cases. The ICBDMS has also collected data on cryptorchidism, but these appear to be unreliable because of a discrepancy with the data from cohort studies. According to two comparable English studies, the incidence of cryptorchidism in full-term boys approximately doubled between the 1950s and the 1980s. Regionally there are large differences: e.g. in Finland the incidence of cryptorchidism is clearly lower than in Denmark. Regional and temporal trends may help to identify environmental factors that might be associated with these disorders.  相似文献

BACKGROUND: This study was carried out to evaluate whether bilateral orchidopexy represents a poor or good prognostic factor in azoospermic men undergoing testicular sperm extraction (TESE). METHODS: One hundred and seven presumed non-obstructive azoospermia (NOA) patients, according to conventional clinical parameters (volume of testis, FSH, clinical history) were submitted to testicular biopsy with TESE. Thirty men (28%) had a history of bilateral orchidopexy for cryptorchidism. RESULTS: Normal spermatogenesis or mild hypospermatogenesis was diagnosed in 12/30 ex-cryptorchid patients and in 7/77 presumed NOA patients (P = 0.0004). Conversely, pure Sertoli cell-only syndrome or complete maturation arrest was found in 10/30 ex-cryptorchid patients and in 48/77 presumed NOA patients (P = 0.0094). In 53/107 patients (49.5%), TESE allowed a positive sperm retrieval. At least one spermatozoon was observed in 22/30 ( approximately 73%) ex-cryptorchid patients and in 31/77 ( approximately 40%) presumed NOA patients (P = 0.0026). A large number of spermatozoa (equivalent to an obstructive pathology) were retrieved in 13/30 ex-cryptorchid and in 10/77 presumed NOA patients (P = 0.001). A history of bilateral orchidopexy in presumed NOA patients correlates positively for the chance of retrieving testicular spermatozoa (odds ratio 3.8; 95% confidence interval 1.41-10.21; P = 0.008). CONCLUSIONS: Although bilateral cryptorchidism is usually considered a testicular secretive dysfunction, TESE permits retrieval of a large number of spermatozoa in almost 40% of cases. Our data suggest the existence of congenital or acquired obstructive anomalies of the seminal ducts in azoospermic orchidopexed men.  相似文献

Genotyping with flanking DNA markers was used to ascertain Treacher Collins Franceschetti syndrome (TCOF1) in a subject affected by tetralogy of Fallot and cryptorchidism. The proband's family consisted of a father and sister who were affected by the disease, and a healthy mother. Since cardiac malformation and cryptorchidism have been associated with the TCOF1 syndrome, the proband was suspected to be a carrier of the mutated gene. Microsatellite markers D5S527, SPARC and D5S519, which previously mapped the TCOF1 gene within a 2.1-cM interval on chromosome 5 (5q32–33.1), were used to follow the transmission of the TCOf 1 mutated locus. Flanking markers D5S519 and D5S527 were informative and enabled us to exclude inheritance of a TCOF1 mutation to the proband, while showing that cardiac malformation and cryptorchidism were unrelated in mis patient.  相似文献

The present review aims to present a perspectiveon a relatively unknown part of the mammalian internal genitalia: their cranial suspensory apparatus.This apparatus shows wide divergence of development when examined during the fetal period or during adulthood, in males or females, or in individuals across a variety of species. In rats and other mamalian species the apparatus undergoes a distinct patern of sexually dimorphic development and fetal testicular androgens are proposed to play a key role in this process. Extensive development of this suspensory apparatus in females is argued to be a part of the anatomical adaptations of the genital apparatus to support the internal genitalia throughout pregnancy, including the relatively enormous growth towards the time of parturition. Minor development of this apparatus in males is judged to be a part of the anatomical requirements allowing developing testes to become displaced from the dorsal abdominal wall during the first stage of testicular descent. Extensive development of this suspensory apparatus in males generally seems to hinder testicular descent. Accordingly, the apparatus is well developed in so-called testicond species which do not show testis descent as a part of their normal male genital development. Furthermore, arguments are adduced that inappropriate and extensive development in species with testis descent may be a key aetiological factor in the disturbance of this process. Diagnosis and treatment of human cryptorchidism might profit from including an analysis of the development and function of (remnants of) the cranial testicular and epididymal suspensory apparatus.  相似文献

In 15 negative explorations for unilateral cryptorchidism, inspection of the contralateral scrotum revealed a "bell-clapper" deformity in 13 patients. Since the descent of the testis is influenced by the gubernaculum and gubernacular abnormalities are usually bilateral, the data suggest that an inadequate gubernaculum is associated with most instances of antenatal and postnatal torsion. Unilateral absence of the testis is a form of this syndrome; congenital monorchidism is probably due to antenatal torsion rather than hypoplasia or agenesis. When monorchidism is confirmed at operation, exploration and suture fixation of the contralateral testis at the same procedure is recommended to protect the solitary testis from future torsion.  相似文献
