Gestational choriocarcinoma (GC) is a highly aggressive tumor. In our study, we systematically investigated EpCAM/CD147 expression characteristics in patients with GC and assessed the role of circulating tumor cells (CTCs) in predicting chemotherapy response and disease progression. GC tissues were positive for either epithelial cellular adhesion molecule (EpCAM) or CD147, and all samples exhibited strong human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG) expression. Among all the recruited patients (n = 115), 103 had at least 1 CTC in a 7.5-mL peripheral blood sample, and the percentage of patients with ≥4 CTCs in a particular FIGO stage group increased with a higher FIGO stage (p < 0.001). Furthermore, the pretreatment CTC count was related to tumor size (r = 0.225, p = 0.015) and the number of metastases (r = 0.603, p < 0.001). A progression analysis showed that among the 115 included patients who qualified for further examination, 52 of the 64 patients defined as progressive had ≥4 pretreatment CTCs, while only 7 of the 51 non-progressive patients had ≥4 pretreatment CTCs (p < 0.001). In multivariate analysis, CTCs (≥4) remained the strongest predictor of PFS when other prognostic markers, FIGO score and FIGO stage were included. Moreover, based on the chemotherapy response, patients with ≥4 CTCs were more likely to be resistant to chemotherapy than those with <4 CTCs (P < 0.001). These findings demonstrates the feasibility of CTC detection in cases of GC by adopting EpCAM/CD147 antibodies together as capturing antibodies. The CTC count is a promising indicator in the evaluation of biological activities and the chemotherapy response in GC patients.  相似文献

为了消灭阳山县丝虫病 ,从 1 959年起对该县进行丝虫病流行病学摸底调查 ,发现共有 1 9个乡镇的 2 1 7个管理区有班氏丝虫病流行 ,平均人群微丝蚴率为 4 3 5%。据此提出以防治病原为主导的策略 ,制订出三项防治技术措施 :①在一个中度流行镇以海群生间歇双疗程法进行连续四年反复查治 ,微丝蚴率从查治前的 1 5 0 8%降至 0 4 5% ;②对连成一片且有固定食盐供应渠道的三个中度流行镇采用全民服食海群生掺拌食盐 ( 3g/kg)防治 6个月 ,微丝蚴率从 5 0 7%降至 0 4 3 % ;③查治结合重点村全民服药 ( 7岁以上人群全民用海群生 3g ,5天分服 ) ,共血检 1 3 2 58人 ,查出并治疗微丝蚴血症 1 5例 ,全民服药 1 8757人 ,巩固丝虫病防治效果。 1 980年经卫生部考核 ,微丝蚴率降至 0 0 0 %~ 0 2 5% ,达到基本消灭丝虫病标准。 1 988~ 1 992年进行纵向监测和 1 9个乡镇横向监测分别血检 60 85、2 80 1 2人次 ,均未发现微丝蚴血症者 ;分别解剖致倦库蚊 1 0 545、4 61 6只 ,均未发现有丝虫感染。 1 996年经省及卫生部考核达到消灭丝虫病部颁标准  相似文献

A dense MgO–Al2O3–SiO2 based glass-ceramic coating was prepared by a doctor blade process on a porous BN/Si2N2O ceramic surface followed by heat treatment at 1050 °C under nitrogen flow. The phase composition, microstructure, mechanical properties and water absorption of the coating were studied. The coating consisted of α-cordierite phase with a small amount of glass phase. The dense coating without pores and cracks was favorable to seal and densify the porous ceramic surface due to part of the molten glass infiltrating the surface pores. The coating was defect-free and tightly bonded to the substrate because of a larger bonding area between the coating and the substrate. The elastic modulus and bending strength of the glass-ceramic coating were 37.9 GPa and 67.1 MPa, respectively. Moreover, the coated samples had a high Vickers hardness and low water absorption.

Electrochemical water splitting is a promising way to produce hydrogen gas, but the sluggish kinetics of the oxygen evolution reaction (OER) extremely restrict the overall conversion efficiency of water splitting. Transition metal based LDHs (TM LDHs) are one of the most effective non-noble metal OER catalysts and have attracted wide interest, especially the nickel–iron LDH (NiFe LDH). The high valence Ni3+ species with a large coordination number play a vital role in OER catalysis. Herein, we report on a surprising discovery that reaction between NiFe LDH and NaBH4 with multi-hydrides induces vacancy formation around Fe3+ and enrichment in Ni3+, crucially activating the OER performance. The ratio of Ni3+/Ni2+ is found to be closely tied to the OER performance, nicely accounting for the leading role of Ni3+ ions in octahedral sites in electrocatalysis. Significantly, the NaBH4 treated NiFe LDH directly on nickel foam (NF), denoted as NaBH4–NiFe LDH@NF exhibited an outstanding OER performance with an overpotential of only 310 mV at 100 mA cm−2, and a Tafel slope of 47 mV dec−1. For the series of TM LDHs we studied with different metal combinations, the high valence metal ion is found to be positively related to OER performance.

Reaction between NiFe LDH and NaBH4 induces vacancies around Fe3+ and enrichment in Ni3+, crucially activating the OER catalyst leading to high performance.  相似文献
