Resistin is elevated in cystic fibrosis sputum and correlates negatively with lung function

Background

Resistin is an immunometabolic mediator that is elevated in several inflammatory disorders. A ligand for Toll-like receptor 4, resistin modulates the recruitment and activation of myeloid cells, notably neutrophils. Neutrophils are major drivers of cystic fibrosis (CF) lung disease, in part due to the release of human neutrophil elastase- and myeloperoxidase-rich primary granules, leading to tissue damage. Here we assessed the relationship of resistin to CF lung disease.

利福霉素类药物治疗结核病的临床应用研究进展

结核病是由结核分枝杆菌复合群引起的传染性疾病，是全球主要的流行病种之一。利福平是当前最主要的一线抗结核药物，因其长期应用和不规范治疗，利福平耐药逐渐增加，利福喷丁、利福布汀等利福霉素类衍生物在抗结核治疗方面起到了重要作用。基于利福霉素类药物的药理及药动学特性，对该类药物在结核病治疗中进行最优用药选择分析，并对该类药物与其他抗结核药物联用进行综述，旨在为利福霉素类抗结核药物的临床用药提供文献依据。     

现代教育技术在执业药师远程继续教育中的应用研究

利用计算机技术，搭建执业药师网上远程继续教育的平台，将主管部门审核的有关执业药师继续教育的教学内容放到网上，供参加执业药师继续教育的人员浏览学习。通过加强管理，严格考核，变传统教学模式为现代教育方式，实现教育的个性化，有效提高执业药师的继续教育质量。

设计并试制了一种药用胶带纸层厚度在线检测系统．该系统将高精度电容传感器与计算机结合起来，同时配有丰富的外围器件，实现了多种实际生产中所需要的功能．它的出现，彻底解决了药用胶带纸胶层厚度在线检测这个难题，经过两年多的实际应用的检验，该系统实现了在线非接触测量，精度高，动态性能好，实现功能全面，价格合理，是药用胶带纸生产的必备检测仪器．由于该系统还可以很方便在纸张、塑料薄膜等其它生产线上进行推广，因而，其应用前景十分看好．     

应用皮瓣移植修复足跟部皮肤软组织缺损

目的通过8种不同皮瓣的临床应用,总结足跟部皮肤软组织缺损的修复效果。方法采用了游离足背皮瓣、游离背阔肌皮瓣、游离肩胛皮瓣、桥式胫后动脉岛状皮瓣、桥式携带背阔肌皮瓣或桥式携带肩胛皮瓣、胫后动脉岛状皮瓣、胫后动脉皮支岛状皮瓣、跖底内侧动脉岛状皮瓣,对足跟部皮肤软组织缺损进行修复的临床应用。结果95块皮瓣修复足跟部皮肤软组织缺损,成活93块,成功率为97.9%。随访1～15年,治疗效果满意。结论应用皮瓣移植的方法,才能使足跟部皮肤软组织缺损得到有效的修复。     

Lipid extract from completely sporoderm‐broken germinating Ganoderma sinensis spores elicits potent antitumor immune responses in human macrophages

Ganoderma sinensis has been used widely in Oriental countries for the prevention and treatment of various diseases including cancer. Previous studies have shown that the lipid extract from Ganoderma exhibits direct cytotoxicity against tumor cells. Here, it is reported that the lipid extract from germinating G. sinensis spores, at lower concentrations that have no direct tumoricidal activity, induce potent antitumor immune responses in human monocytes/macrophages. Upon stimulation with the lipid extract, monocytes/macrophages exhibited markedly increased production of proinflammatory cytokines and surface expression of costimulatory molecules. Conditioned medium from stimulated cells effectively suppressed the growth of tumor cells. Apparently, the lipid extract triggered macrophage activation via a mechanism different from that associated with LPS. Moreover, it was observed that the lipid extract could partially re‐establish the antitumor activity of the immunosuppressive tumor‐associated macrophages. These results indicated that in addition to its direct tumoricidal activity, the lipid extract from G. sinensis spores could exert antitumor activity by stimulating the activation of human monocytes/macrophages. 清炎颗粒对肾盂肾炎小鼠外周血IL-8与IL-10的影响

目的：探讨清炎颗粒治疗肾盂肾炎的免疫学机制。方法：采用孙氏方法改进造模,治疗组分别按剂量3.12、6.24、12.48g·kg^-1·d^-1予清炎颗粒,模型组予生理盐水,对照组予至灵胶囊灌胃,喂养至3d、7d、15d、30d、60d取血清,用ELISA法检测其IL-8、IL-10的水平。结果：清炎颗粒能显著降低不同时段血清IL-8的水平、提高不同时段血清IL-10的水平。结论：免疫调控可能是清炎颗粒治疗肾盂肾炎的作用机制之一。     

Independent and court-ordered forensic neuropsychological examinations: Official statement of the National Academy of Neuropsychology

Independent forensic neuropsychological examinations are performed by neuropsychologists who are hired as independent contractors by third parties to make determinations regarding neuropsychological functioning. The responsibilities of neuropsychologists when performing independent or court-ordered forensic examinations differ from those of clinical examinations. Because neuropsychological training typically occurs in clinical contexts, the transition to forensic contexts may result in uncertainty about how to negotiate the unique responsibilities of the forensic examiner role. Neuropsychologists are responsible for maintaining the highest standards of professional practice when performing independent and court-ordered forensic examinations. To reach and maintain the highest standards of practice, neuropsychologists must understand the unique relationships with retaining parties and examinees and strive to maintain true independence and objectivity. Although a true neuropsychologist-patient relationship is not considered to exist within the context of a forensic neuropsychological evaluation, neuropsychologists have ethical responsibilities to both the retaining party and the examinee.     

2例经皮球囊椎体成形术治疗胸腰椎压缩性骨折患者的护理

对2例经皮球囊椎体成形治疗胸腰椎压缩性骨折患者进行护理，术前做好心理护理，疼痛的护理，功能锻炼的指导，完善相关检查；术后做好生命体征的观察，积极预防骨水泥外渗、肺栓塞等并发症的发生，并指导合理饮食，加强功能锻炼。结果2例术后未发生并发症，痊愈出院，治疗效果满意。
