维药库吾提艾拉口服液的提取工艺研究

目的研究维药库吾提艾拉口服液的提取工艺。方法以淫羊藿苷的含量为指标,采用L9(34)正交试验设计优选维药库吾提艾拉口服液的最佳提取工艺条件。结果优选得到的最佳提取工艺为A3B2C2,即加14倍量水,总煎煮时间3小时,醇沉浓度75%。结论优选得到的工艺稳定可行。     

NMR-based investigations of acyl-functionalized piperazines concerning their conformational behavior in solution

Selected N-benzoylated piperazine compounds were synthesized to study their conformational behavior using temperature-dependent ¹H NMR spectroscopy. All investigated piperazines occur as conformers at room temperature resulting from the restricted rotation of the partial amide double bond. In the case of selected mono-N-benzoylated and unsymmetrically N,N′-substituted derivatives, the appearance of the ¹H NMR spectrum was further shaped by the limited interconversion of the piperazine chair conformations. Therefore, two different coalescence points T_C were determined and their resulting activation energy barriers ΔG^‡ were calculated to be between 56 and 80 kJ mol⁻¹. In most of the cases, T_C and ΔG^‡ for the amide site appeared to be higher than the corresponding values for the ring inversion. The influences of substituents on rotational and inversion barriers were analyzed by correlation to Hammett constants. The obtained results are discussed and interpreted in the context of literature data. An additional aryl substituent connected at the amine site led to reduced rotational and inversion barriers compared to the free secondary amine. To support and evidence the findings from the NMR analyses, single crystals of selected piperazines were obtained and XRD analyses were performed. To underline the results, two potential TGase 2 inhibitors were investigated showing energy barriers with similar values.

The influence of substituents on rotational and inversion barriers in benzoylpiperazines was investigated by dynamic NMR and the observed effects were quantified by correlation analyses using Hammett substituent parameters.

A review of dengue fever incidence in Kota Bharu, Kelantan, Malaysia during the years 1998-2003

Dengue is the most common and widespread arthropod borne arboviral infection in the world today. It is estimated that there are at least 100 million cases of dengue fever (DF) annually and 500,000 cases of dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) which require hospitalization. In Malaysia, it has become a major public health problem. Malaysia recorded 19,544 dengue cases in 1997, the highest recorded since the disease was made notifiable in the country. Of 19,544 cases, 806 were DHF with 50 deaths. The objectives of this analysis were to describe the incidence of dengue fever and dengue hemorrhagic fever in Kota Bharu, Kelantan, Malaysia for the years 1998-2003 and to explore the characteristics of dengue fever and dengue hemorrhagic fever in Kota Bharu, Kelantan, Malaysia for years 1998-2003. A total of 4,716 dengue cases were notified involving 4,476 (94.9%) DF and 240 (5.1%) DHF cases, which increased though the years. The highest incidence was in January (701 or 14.9%), while the lowest was in May (188 or 4.0%). Forty percent of cases (n=1,890) were in the 15-29 year old group. The Majority were Malays (4,062 or 86.1%) and 2,602 or 55.2% were male. A total of 4,477 cases (95%) were local cases and 4,289 or 91% came from the urban area. For priority areas, 3,772 (80%) were from priority 1. More than half the cases had positive serology results. All symptoms occurred in more than 96% of cases and fever was the commonest (99.7%). The mean values for age, temperature, systolic and diastolic blood pressure (BP) were 27.8 +/- 15.4 years, 37.9 +/- 0.90 degrees C, 115 +/- 15.2 mmHg and 73 +/- 11.1 mmHg, respectively. The mean value for the time interval between the onset of symptoms and diagnosis, onset of symptoms and notification and time of diagnosis to notification were 5.1 +/- 2.3, 5.9 +/- 2.5 and 0.8 +/- 1.1 days, respectively. There were associations between the types of dengue and classification, area and priority area. Among the symptoms, the association was only seen in joint pain. The mean significant differences between DF and DHF were found in age and systolic blood pressure. The incidence of dengue in Kota Bharu is comparable to that in Malaysia. The increase in the number of cases needs to be addressed promptly with effective surveillance, prevention and control programs.

压力性尿失禁(SUI)是中老年女性的常见病,随着生活水平的提高,人们越来越重视生活质量,SUI无疑成为提高生活质量的绊脚石。由于文化教育和经济等原因,患者对此病羞于启齿导致疾病无法及时有效的治疗,随着对该病认识的深入,诊断和治疗效果大步提升。虽然治疗该疾病的方法很多,但各有其优缺点及适应证。该文综述了近年来有关女性SUI的中西医治疗进展。     

Reactive oxygen species and aldehyde dehydrogenase activity in Hodgkin lymphoma cells

Tumor cells with tumorigenic potential might be limited to a small population of cells, called cancer-initiating cells (CICs). CICs efficiently form colonies in vitro, yield both CIC and non-CIC populations, maintain reactive oxygen species (ROS) at low levels, show high aldehyde dehydrogenase (ALDH) activity, and are mostly in a quiescent state of the cell cycle. CICs of Hodgkin lymphoma (HL) are small in size, with low levels of ROS. The relationship between ROS level and ALDH activity in CICs was examined in HL cell lines. ROS-low and ALDH-high populations formed colonies in semi-solid cultures more efficiently than ROS-high and ALDH-low populations. ALDH-high populations yielded both ALDH-low and -high populations, whereas ALDH-low populations rarely yielded an ALDH-high population. The number of cells in a quiescent state was significantly greater in ROS-low than in ROS-high cells, whereas that of ALDH-high and ALDH-low cells was comparable to each other. These findings show that ALDH-high and ROS-low cells share CIC-like potential, but they differ in their cell cycle status, suggesting that CICs are comprised of cells with heterogeneous characteristics.     

新疆和田地区部分维吾尔族老年人口腔健康调查

目的：了解新疆和田地区部分维吾尔族老年人口腔卫生及健康状况。方法：对108例新疆和田地区65-70岁维吾尔族老年人进行口腔卫生知识问卷及口腔健康调查。结果：患龋率60.19%,牙磨耗患病率31.48%,楔状缺损患病率0%,牙周病患病率77.78%,口腔黏膜病患病率10.19%,牙列缺损率77.78%,牙列缺失率22.22%,戴义齿率23.15%,需戴义齿率75.93%。结论：新疆和田地区部分维吾尔族老年人口腔健康状况不容乐观,应该加强口腔卫生服务以及口腔健康宣传工作。
