This paper presents an analysis of samples from 75 patients for the presence of rubella virus, viral RNA, and specific antibodies. For all samples, RNA detection was higher than virus isolation. It was found that it was not possible to isolate rubella virus in every sixth clinical sample containing the viral RNA. Primary structures of the site (from the 8072nd to 8291st nucleotide) of the rubella virus genome from 14 samples were determined. This paper shows that all the samples of rubella virus belong to the first genotype, subgroups 1h, and very likely to subgroups 1a and 1F. For the first time, the circulation of rubella virus of the genotype has been shown both prior to the start of mass vaccination in Western Siberia and after. 相似文献

Pyrimidine derivatives are widely used for the treatment of viral diseases and cancer. The analysis of pyrimidine derivatives
is typically performed using various chromatographic techniques, in particular, reversed-phase high performance liquid chromatography
(HPLC). The separation is typically carried out with (7–30)-cm-long C8 and C18 silica gel columns, mainly at room temperature, and a 1–1.5 ml-min eluent flow rate. The column is eluted in an isocratic
or gradient system, and a variety of mobile phases have been proposed. The detection is based on optical absorption or fluorescence
measurements, or makes use of mass spectrometry. Various methods of extraction of pyrimidine derivatives from biological samples
are discussed, and the corresponding detection limits are presented.

Patients with testicular tumors receiving the Einhorn combination chemotherapy with cisplatinum administration for five consecutive days were evaluated for signs of glomerular filtration rate impairment by means of serum beta 2-microglobulin measurements before and on days 2 and 5 after cessation of cisplatin administration and then before repeated cycles of the same chemotherapeutic regimen. Though no significant changes in the level of serum beta 2-microglobulin could be found, an evident increase in the values was seen indicating that in more aggressive cisplatin administration schedules not only tubular impairment might contribute to possible nephrotoxic effects. 相似文献

OBJECTIVE: To explore the effects of electrical stimulation performed by an anode, a cathode or a bipole positioned over the motor cortex for chronic pain management. METHODS: A realistic 3D volume conductor model of the human precentral gyrus (motor cortex) was used to calculate the stimulus-induced electrical field. The subsequent response of neural elements in the precentral gyrus and in the anterior wall and lip of the central sulcus was simulated using compartmental neuron models including the axon, soma and dendritic trunk. RESULTS: While neural elements perpendicular to the electrode surface are preferentially excited by anodal stimulation, cathodal stimulation excites those with a direction component parallel to its surface. When stimulating bipolarly, the excitation of neural elements parallel to the bipole axis is additionally facilitated. The polarity of the contact over the precentral gyrus determines the predominant response. Inclusion of the soma-dendritic model generally reduces the excitation threshold as compared to simple axon model. CONCLUSIONS: Electrode polarity and electrode position over the precentral gyrus and central sulcus have a large and distinct influence on the response of cortical neural elements to stimuli. SIGNIFICANCE: Modeling studies like this can help to identify the effects of electrical stimulation on cortical neural tissue, elucidate mechanisms of action and ultimately to optimize the therapy. 相似文献

Anatomical examinations (33 cadavers) for studying parasympathetic innervation of the upper abdominal organs formed the basis for developing a new variant of proximal gastric vagotomy--anterior seromyotomy of the body and fundus of the stomach in combination with posterior truncal or posterior selective vagotomy. This variant excludes mobilization of the esophagus and makes it possible to preserve the ligament apparatus of the esophago-gastric junction as well as the parasympathetic innervation of the pancreas, small and large intestine, kidneys, and adrenals, which may be a measure for the prevention of some ++post-vagotomy complications. 相似文献
