The problem of multivariable controller synthesis for a turbogenerator is considered. Using the feedback linearization approach for multi-input non-linear systems, the existence of a linearizing state feedback for the improved reduced-order model of a turbogenerator is proved and the simplest form of this feedback is derived. Application of the obtained non-linear controller to the multivariable control of a turbogenerator provides very good results not only for the reduced-order model but also for the ‘exact’ (Park's) model of a turbogenerator. Simulations of fault and post-fault conditions in the obtained nonlinear control system confirm its superiority over a system with a voltage regulator and power system stabilizer.  相似文献

Type 2 diabetes is associated with the increased risk of microvascular and macrovascular complications. The aim of this study was to determine risk factors for the development of long-term complications of Type 2 diabetes. We analyzed medical records of all patients, who came with newly diagnosed Type 2 diabetes to one regional outpatient diabetes clinic from 1980 to 1994 (n=2175). The data, such as fasting plasma glucose, total cholesterol, triglyceride, blood pressure and body mass index (BMI), were assessed. Also, the time from the diagnosis of Type 2 diabetes to the occurrence of complications was obtained. Using the regression model in the survival analysis, we examined which of the risk factors determined the rate of the development of nephropathy, proliferative retinopathy, cardiovascular disease and stroke. Patients with higher fasting plasma glucose and higher mean blood pressure had higher risk of developing nephropathy and proliferative retinopathy. Higher mean arterial blood pressure was associated with higher rate of stroke and cardiovascular disease. High total cholesterol increased the hazard of coronary artery disease and proliferative retinopathy. In conclusion, blood pressure and fasting plasma glucose are major risk factors for microvascular complications in Type 2 diabetes. An increased blood pressure determined the macrovascular complications in Type 2 diabetes, but the effect of increased fasting plasma glucose could not be proved.  相似文献

We previously found paclitaxel-eluting polymer-coated stents causing more human platelet-monocyte complex formation than bare metal stents in vitro. Presently, we examined patterns of platelet activation and adhesion after exposure to 6 nanofilm HAp-coated (HAp-nano) stents, 6 HAp-microporous-coated (HAp-micro) stents, 5 HAp sirolimus-eluting microporous-coated (HAp-SES) stents and 5 cobalt-chromium stents (BMS) deployed in an in vitro flow system. Blood obtained from healthy volunteers was circulated and sampled at 0, 10, 30 and 60 min. By flow cytometry, there were no significant differences in P-Selectin expression between the 4 stent types (HAp-nano = 32.5%; HAp-micro = 42.5%, HAp-SES = 10.23%, BMS = 7% change from baseline at 60 min, p = NS); PAC-1 antibody binding (HAp-nano = 11.8%; HAp-micro = 2.9%, HAp-SES = 18%, BMS = 6.4% change from baseline at 60 min, p = NS) or PMC formation (HAp-nano = 21.6%; HAp-micro = 4%, HAp-SES = 6.6%, BMS = 17.4% change from baseline at 60 min, p = NS). The 4 stent types did not differ in the average number of platelet clusters >10 μm in diameter by SEM (HAp-nano = 2.39 ± 5.75; HAp-micro = 2.26 ± 3.43; HAp-SES = 1.93 ± 3.24; BMS = 1.94 ± 2.41, p = NS). The majority of the struts in each stent group were only mildly covered by platelets, (HAp-nano = 80%, HAp-micro = 61%, HAp-SES = 78% and BMS = 52.1%, p = NS). The HAp-microporous-coated stents (ECD) attracted slightly more proteinaceous material than bare metal stents (HAp-micro = 35% struts with complete protein coverage, P < 0.0001 vs. other 3 stent types). In conclusion, biomimetic stent coating with nanofilm or microporous hydroxyapatite, even when eluting low-dose sirolimus, does not increase the platelet activation in circulating human blood, or platelet adhesion to stent surface when compared to bare metal stents in vitro.  相似文献

Compounds with lower dynamic stiffness are a better solution from the tyre/road noise point of view. The article presents the constructed test stand for the evaluation of dynamic stiffness both in in situ and in laboratory conditions. As a result of the tests, it was found that poroelastic pavements have a much lower dynamic stiffness (from 138.3 to 143.0 dB re. 1 N/m) compared to the asphalt concrete pavement (150.3 dB re. 1 N/m). In the group of poroelastic pavements, lower dynamic stiffness is characteristic for pavements with a binder course of porous asphalt. The results of the research are a contribution to further work on the influence of the dynamic stiffness of the pavements on the tyre/road noise level. The conducted measurements and analysis of the results prove the usefulness of the proposed test stand for determining the dynamic stiffness of bituminous mixtures in laboratory and field conditions. This is confirmed by the coherence between the force and acceleration signals at the level of at least 0.96—which indicates a very good validation of the test results with a random error lower than ±5% with 90% confidence level.  相似文献

We have developed a universal DC targeting vehicle that could be a convenient method to deliver any type of antigen to DC. P125, a quadroma (hybrid-hybridoma) secreting bispecific monoclonal antibodies (bsmAb), with one paratope specific for mouse DC DEC-205 and another paratope specific for biotin, was developed by PEG-fusion of the two parental hybridomas and selected by a fluorescence activated cell sorter. The bsmAb were purified using a biotin-Agarose column and the bsmAb activity was demonstrated using ELISA method employing mouse bone marrow DC and biotinylated BSA. Both confocal microscopy and ELISA studies have shown enhanced binding and internalization of biotinylated and FITC-labelled M13 to DC cell in the presence of bsmAb. In vivo studies in mice with biotinylated OVA has shown that in the presence of bsmAb and anti-CD40 mAb, both humoral and cell-mediated responses can be augmented. In addition, only a low concentration of antigen (500 fold less) is required using bsmAb to achieve a similar immune response in mice that were immunized using complete Freund's adjuvant. In the absence of traditional adjuvants, bsmAb targeting of biotinylated antigens to DC could be an alternative, convenient method to deliver antigens to DC. Moreover, this method could be an alternative method to ex vivo stimulation of DC to overcome DC defects and for treatment of cancer.  相似文献

Gastric H+ and duodenal HCO3- secretions are precisely regulated by neuro-hormonal mechanisms at central and peripheral levels to match the rate of these secretions with the type of stimulation of sensory receptors in the head area (sight, smell, taste, etc.) and in the gastro-intestinal system. Two-way communication pathways operate between the brain and the gut, each comprising afferent fibers signaling sensory information from the gut to the brain and efferent fibers transmitting signals in opposite direction. Short intramural and long extramural reflexes are triggered as well as various gut hormones are released by feeding that "cooperate" with the "brain-gut axis" in the alteration of exocrine and endocrine gastro-duodenal secretion, motility and blood circulation. The malfunction of gastric or duodenal secretory mechanisms may lead to disturbances of gastric H+-pepsin or duodenal mucus-HCO3- secretion and to gastro-duodenal disorders and diseases. This review presents recent advances in pathophysiological mechanisms underlying gastro-duodenal secretory disorders.  相似文献

PURPOSE: To prove the hypothesis that T1-weighted (T1W) thermal mapping is reliable and achievable in magnetic resonance (MR)-guided laser tumor ablation. MATERIALS AND METHODS: Near real-time gray and color-scale T1W thermal maps in 111 MR-guided laser thermal ablations (LTA) of liver, kidney, and uterine tumors were studied. After laser fiber placement, near real-time gray and color-scale thermal maps were produced. Previous work showed T1 signal is inversely proportional to temperature below 55 degrees C (the point of irreversible necrosis). RESULTS: Thermal mapping was successful in 84% of uterine, 74% of hepatic, and 20% of renal ablations. For hepatic and uterine tumors, size and conspicuity of thermal lesions were significantly greater on subtracted colorized images rather than gray-scale raw image mapping (P = 0.001, paired Student's t-test). Patient movement (N = 24), fiber charring N = 2), magnetic field distortion, and reconstruction errors (N = 2) caused mapping failure. For both renal and hepatic tumors, comparison of near real-time T1W colorized thermal map and follow up gadolinium-enhanced MR imaging revealed moderate correlation (Pearson correlation coefficient of 0.55 and 0.5, respectively). CONCLUSION: In hepatic, renal, and uterine thermal maps, the color scale produced significantly greater sized lesions with significantly greater conspicuity than the gray scale. T1W thermal mapping was reliable and successfully achieved in 73.7% of procedures, and predicted the ablated area of the tumor moderately well.  相似文献
