以18-甲基-17β-羟基-17α-乙炔基-雌甾-4-烯-3-酮(18-甲基炔诺酮),17β-羟基-17α-乙缺基-雌甾-4-烯-3-酮(炔诺酮),17β-羟基-17α-乙炔基-雄甾-4-烯-3-酮(妊娠素)和17a-羟基孕甾-4-烯-3,20二酮(17α-羟基黄体酮)为原料,经NaBH,还原、脱水、双键转位和酯化等反应合成一系列3,5-甾二烯化合物,用1HNMR和MS证明了它们的结构。动物筛选结果表明,17β-丙酰氧基-17α-乙炔基-雌甾-3,5-二烯(IVb2有明显的抗早孕活性。中断早期妊娠的作用似与其雌激素活性有关。  相似文献

The paper aims to present the strengths and weaknesses of computational fluid mechanics (CFM) compared with existing in vitro haemodynamic techniques such as LDA, hot-wire anemometry and static pressure measurement, and to discuss the application of CFM to the analysis of prosthetic heart valve flow. It presents a brief summary of existing methods used in analysing in vitro heart valve flow (along with CFM), the special problems inherent in each method and the quantities each is capable of giving. The analysis then goes on to present examples of information yielded by CFM. It also contains a brief discussion of the data requirements for the analysis of heart valve performance and the clinical relevance of fluid dynamic occurrences. The conclusion drawn is that CFM has a major role to play in the analysis of prosthetic heart valve flow and design because of the improved availability of data afforded and the increased correlation between CFM and clinical flow regimes, due to the ability to consider realistic models of blood.  相似文献

Summary Accurate volume determination of the encephalic ventricles is of importance in several clinical conditions, including Alzheimer's presenile dementia, schizophrenia, and benign intracranial hypertension. Previous studies have investigated the accuracy with which magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) can be used in clinical practice to evaluate the encephalic ventricles. However, adequate evaluation of pathological conditions depends on a sufficient amount of morphometric data from normal subjects. To begin establishing this data base for normal subjects, we evaluated the MRI scans of 38 subjects found to have no apparent pathology and calculated the ventricular volume in each case by using methods previously developed in our laboratory. The results were then compared with published volumes determined from studies that used either ventricular casts or computerized tomographic scans. The average total ventricular volume for all 38 subjects was 17.4 cm3, while that for males was 16.3 cm3 and that for females was 18.0 cm3. A small but significant correlation was found between age of subject and ventricular volume, with ventricular size increasing with age.

Résumé La détermination exacte du volume des ventricules cérébraux est importante en clinique comme par exemple dans la démence présénile d'Alzheimer, la schizophrénie et l'hypertension intracrânienne bénigne. Des études antérieures ont étudié la fiabilité de la résonance magnétique nucléaire en pratique clinique pour évaluer le volume des ventricules cérébraux. Toutefois une évaluation correcte dans les conditions pathologiques implique une bonne connaissance des données morphométriques du sujet normal. Pour établir ces données sur « le sujet normal », nous avons étudié les coupes obtenues en IRM chez 38 sujets apparemment indemnes de toute pathologie; nous avons calculé le volume ventriculaire dans chaque cas en utilisant des méthodes mises au point auparavant dans notre laboratoire. Les résultats ont été ensuite comparés avec ceux obtenus par d'autres études utilisant soit des moules ventriculaires, soit des coupes tomographiques computérisées. Le volume ventriculaire total moyen chez 38 sujets est de 17,4 cm3, mais il est chez les sujets masculins de 16,3 cm3 et chez les sujets de sexe féminin de 18 cm3. Une corrélation faible mais significative a été trouvée entre l'âge du sujet et le volume ventriculaire, étant entendu que la taille du ventricule augmente avec l'âge.

Of 181 patients with severe congenital pulmonary atresia and ventricular septal defect or "type IV truncus" (an obsolete term), all but 11% had true central pulmonary arteries. These arteries were demonstrable by large serial biplane angiograms using multiple selective injections into collateral vessels, frequent photographic subtraction, and occasional pulmonary vein-wedge angiograms. These techniques are extremely important for accurate diagnosis and in planning corrective or palliative surgery, which was done in 77% of patients with pulmonary arteries.  相似文献

The ability of the VentrAssist blood pump to perform at its optimum design point is determined by a number of factors such as geometry of the pump, surface roughness, and fluid properties. Once the fluid properties are known, the performance characteristics of the pump can be optimized for that fluid. It is important to understand the effects of dynamic viscosity mu (called simply viscosity hereafter) on the performance characteristics and stability of the pump. The performance envelope of the pump and the needs of the patient must be matched. The VentrAssist pump has no shaft, seals, or fixed bearings and relies on the fluid-dynamic forces to maintain its effective performance. A number of different fluids have been tested to determine the effects of viscosity and density on pump performance. These include aqueous glycerol, red blood cells (RBCs) suspended in phosphate buffered saline solution (PBS), and Haemaccel. The effects of viscosity on the bearing stiffness, stage efficiency, and the pressure-flow rate (HQ) are characterized. The experimental results show a slight increase in the pressure rise across the pump shown as a positive upward shift of the H-Q curves with a decrease in viscosity; however, this is relatively small. A paradox in system efficiency exists: for a given fluid asymptotic viscosity, the system efficiency (product of magnetic and stage efficiency) using Haemaccel or PBS is greater than for the same viscosity of aqueous glycerol.  相似文献

The VentrAssist pump has no shaft or seal, and the device is unique in design because the rotor is suspended passively by hydrodynamic forces, and urging is accomplished by an integrated direct current motor rotor that also acts as the pump impeller. This device has led to many challenges in its fluidic design, namely large flow-blockage from impeller blades, low stiffness of bearings with concomitant impeller displacement under pulsatile load conditions, and very small running clearances. Low specific speed and radial blade off-flow were selected in order to minimize the hemolysis. Pulsatile and steady-flow tests show the impeller is stable under normal operating conditions. Computational fluid dynamics (CFD) has been used to optimize flow paths and reduce net axial force imbalance to acceptably small values. The latest design of the pump achieved a system efficiency of 18% (in 30% hematocrit of red blood cells suspended in phosphate-buffered saline), and efficiency was optimized over the range of operating conditions. Parameters critical to improving pump efficiency were investigated.  相似文献

Sensorless flow and head estimation in the VentrAssist rotary blood pump   总被引:4,自引:0,他引:4  
Flow rate and pressure difference (or head) are key variables needed in the control of implantable rotary blood pumps. However, use of flow and/or pressure probes can decrease reliability and increase system power consumption and expense. For a given fluid viscosity, the flow state is determined by any 2 of the 4 pump variables: Flow, pressure difference, speed, and motor input power can be used. Thus, if viscosity is known or if its influence is sufficiently small, flow rate and pressure difference can be estimated from the motor speed and motor input power. For the VentrAssist centrifugal blood pump, which uses a hydrodynamic bearing, sensorless flow and pressure head estimation accuracy of 2 of our impeller designs were compared for a viscosity range of 1.2 to 4.5 mPas. This showed impeller design optimization can improve estimation accuracy. We also compared estimation accuracy using 2 blood analogues used in vitro, aqueous glycerol and red blood cells suspended in Haemaccel. The nature of the blood analogue and not only the viscosity of the fluid seems to influence estimation accuracy in our pump.  相似文献
