Non odontogenic epithelial cyst, again called fissurary cyst, are dysembryophasic cyst of maxillary, they are born throughout the sutures line of faces. Their diagnosis is raising again association of clinic symptom, especially complementary examination and in particular dental vitality test. Their treatment is surgical. Around 14 cysts fissurary have been recorded in a seven-year period.     

Epstein-Barr virus-associated smooth muscle tumors in immunocompromised patients: Six case reports

BACKGROUNDEpstein-Barr virus associated smooth muscle tumor (EBV-SMT) is a rare oncological entity. However, there is an increasing incidence of EBV-SMTs, as the frequency of organ transplantation and immunosuppression grows. EBV-SMT diagnosis relies on histopathology and immunochemical staining to distinguish it from post-transplant lymphoproliferative disorder (PTLD). There is no clear consensus on the treatment of EBV-SMTs. However, surgical resection, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and immunosuppression reduction have been explored with varying degrees of success. CASE SUMMARYOur case series includes six cases of EBV-SMTs across different age groups, with different treatment modalities, adding to the limited existing literature on this rare tumor. The median latency time between immunosuppression and disease diagnosis is four years. EBV-SMTs present with variable degrees of aggressiveness and seem to have worse clinical outcomes in patients with tumor multiplicity and worse immunocompetency.CONCLUSIONIt is imperative to continue building on this knowledge and keeping EBV-SMTs on the differential in immunocompromised individuals.     

Hemophagocytic syndrome complicating adult's seropositive rheumatoid arthritis

INTRODUCTION: Macrophage activation syndrome (MAS) is a severe complication of chronic rheumatic diseases, particularly juvenile rheumatoid arthritis. However, MAS is rarely described in adult rheumatoid polyarthritis. EXEGESE: We report a case of MAS complicating a seropositive rheumatoid polyarthritis after 20 years of evolution. Pancytopenia with fever, renal failure and hepatic dysfunction revealed the disease that was confirmed by multiple macrophages and monocytes invading the bone marrow specimen. CONCLUSION: Outcome has been spectacular under corticosteroids.     

Regulations on tuberculosis risk in workplaces in Senegal

National immunization and control programs have not brought about a significant decline in tuberculosis, which remains a real public health concern in our regions. Prevention in the working environment should be part of an overall prevention program for the general population. Nevertheless, companies should play a leading role because they have the necessary structure and assets. We analyzed the epidemiology of tuberculosis in the working environment using demographic data on employees in Senegal, current medicolegal data on tuberculosis in Senegal and data on prevention of tuberculosis. Our analysis led to a proposed strategy for controlling tuberculosis spread and its prevention in the working environment in Senegal.
