作者通过内窥镜对新疆奎屯地区氟中毒患者35名,氟砷中毒患者32名,对照组25名的胃粘膜进行观察,旨在了解氟元素和砷元素对胃粘膜的影响,在3个组中慢性胃炎的炎症程度与炎症活动性有显著性差异。2个中毒组间无显著性差异。结果表明在高氟区和高氟砷区患者的胃粘膜层病理改变主要是任性氟中毒引起,单纯性砷中毒并无协同作用。 相似文献

Gambierol was isolated from Gambierdiscus toxicus, which causes ciguatera fish poisoning. The acute toxicological effects induced in mice by synthesized gambierol were studied. The lethal doses were about 80 μg/kg by i.p. and i.v., and 150 μg/kg by p.o. The main injury by this toxin was observed in the lung, and secondary in the heart, resulting in systemic congestion. Another toxic effect was seen in the stomach, inducing hypersecretion and ulceration. With survival from the severe stage during the initial 3 h, recovery was favorable, especially after 4 days. Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is an autoimmune disease characterized by the presence of autoantibodies and lupus nephritis. In the present study using New Zealand Black (NZB) x New Zealand White (NZW) F1 (NZBW F1) mice, we planned to investigate the effects of Toxoplasma gondii infection on the progress of lupus nephritis. Female NZBW F1 mice at the age of 2 months were perorally infected with T. gondii. The T. gondii infection reduced the number of mice developing proteinuria and immune complex deposits in their kidneys and prolonged their life span. A marked decrease in the levels of IgM and IgG anti-DNA antibodies, especially IgG2a and IgG3 subclasses, was observed in T. gondii-infected NZBW F1 mice at 9 months of age. The level of anti-HSP70 IgG autoantibody in the sera of NZBW F1 mice was significantly higher than that in control mice at 9 weeks after T. gondii infection. Moreover, NZBW F1 mice treated with anti-self heat shock protein 70 (HSP70) monoclonal antibody were substantially protected against the onset of glomerulonephritis. Further, down-regulation of intracellular expression of IFN-gamma and IL-10 was shown in spleen cells of T. gondii-infected NZBW F1 mice. This was consistent with the previous data indicating the involvement of Th1-type and Th2-type cytokines in the development of lupus-like nephritis. To investigate the role of the Toll-like receptor (TLR) family in host defense against Toxoplasma gondii, we infected TLR2-, TLR4- and MyD88-deficient mice with the avirulent cyst-forming Fukaya strain of T. gondii. All TLR2- and MyD88-deficient mice died within 8 days, whereas all TLR4-deficient and wild-type mice survived after i.p. infection with a high dose of T. gondii. Peritoneal macrophages from T. gondii-infected TLR2- and MyD88-deficient mice did not produce any detectable levels of NO. T. gondii loads in the brain tissues of TLR2- and MyD88-deficient mice were higher than in those of TLR4-deficient and wild-type mice. Furthermore, high levels of IFN-gamma and IL-12 were produced in peritoneal exudate cells (PEC) of TLR4-deficient and wild-type mice after infection, but low levels of cytokines were produced in PEC of TLR2- and MyD88-deficient mice. On the other hand, high levels of IL-4 and IL-10 were produced in PEC of TLR2- and MyD88-deficient mice after infection, but low levels of cytokines were produced in PEC of TLR4-deficient and wild-type mice. The most remarkable histological changes with infiltration of inflammatory cells were observed in lungs of TLR2-deficient mice infected with T. gondii, where severe interstitial pneumonia occurred and abundant T. gondii were found. 相似文献

Hepatitis C virus (HCV) has been linked to extrahepatic manifestations such as oral lichen planus (OLP). In addition, anticardiolipin antibodies (aCL) and cryoglobulin have been demonstrated in chronic hepatitis C. The aim of this study was to investigate these prevalences in patients with HCV-associated OLP. The prospective study investigated the role of these factors in 133 subjects: 28 with OLP-HCV(+) (group 1), 22 with OLP-HCV(-) (group 2), 33 without OLP-HCV(+) (group 3), and 50 healthy volunteers matched for age and sex served as control group (group 4). Levels of immunoglobulin G (IgG) and IgM aCL antibodies, and cryoglobulin in serum were evaluated by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. The prevalence of aCL in groups 1, 2, 3, and 4 were 32.1, 18, 36.3, and 8%, respectively. The positive rate of aCL was significantly higher in groups 1 and 3 than that in the control group (group 1; p=0.02 vs. the control group, group 3; p<0.01 vs. the control group). There were no significant differences in cryoglobulin among the groups. The findings of the present study showed a high prevalence of IgG and IgM aCL in the serum of patients with HCV infectious diseases. Depolarization thresholds for hippocampal damage, ischemic preconditioning, and changes in gene expression after global ischemia in the rat 总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
Induced ischemic tolerance in rat hippocampus was investigated in a forebrain ischemia model of repeated 4-vessel occlusion (4-VO). Ischemic insult variability was reduced by the use of dc potential measurements to determine the duration of ischemic depolarization in hippocampus. The results demonstrate a depolarization threshold for ischemic injury to CA1 neurons of 4-6 min and a window for optimal preconditioning of 2.5-3.5 min. Levels of induced mRNAs encoding hsp72 and several immediate-early genes were also shown to vary with depolarization interval. Immediate-early genes were maximally induced after depolarization periods inducing optimal preconditioning, while hsp72 expression increased with insult severity over the range leading to neuron loss. These results are similar to those obtained in gerbil studies indicating that preconditioning does not require large increases in hsp72 expression, and demonstrate the fundamental comparability of rodent global ischemia models when monitored by this approach. 相似文献

The anatomical relationship between the kidney position and its arterial supply was investigated in 21 mammals, 1 bird, and 3 reptiles (n = 1 for each species) and in 43 human cadavers. The following observations were made. (1) Although the right kidney was located caudal to the left kidney in 29 out of 43 human cadavers (67.4%), the origin of the right renal artery from the aorta was located cranial to the origin of the left renal artery in 36 human cadavers (83.7%). Therefore, the relative positions of the kidneys do not correspond with the relative origins of the renal arteries in humans. (2) Among the mammals that were examined, the position of the kidney and the branching level of the renal artery on the right side were usually cranial to those on the left side. (3) In the bird and most reptiles that were examined, kidneys were typically located in the pelvic region and were supplied by segmental arterial branches. These results suggest that the right kidney and its arterial supply are generally located cranial to the left kidney in phylogeny of mammals. While the presence of a human accessory renal artery in 9 out of 86 sides (10.5%) and a cranial origin of the left renal artery relative to the right renal artery in 7 out of 43 cadavers (16.3%), shows some variation in the arterial supply to the kidneys, the origin of the renal arteries can generally be used as phylogenetic landmarks indicating the relative positions of the kidneys. Hence, from an ontological perspective, the human right kidney may be initially situated cranial to the left kidney during the early stages of development. The aim of this research was to reveal the characteristics of gut microbiome altered by acarbose intervention in Japanese patients with type 2 diabetes (T2D) and its possible association with habitual dietary intake. Eighteen patients with T2D were administered acarbose for four weeks. The abundances of two major phyla, namely Actinobacteria and Bacteroidetes, were reciprocally changed accompanied by the acarbose intervention. There were also significant changes in the abundances of ten genera, including the greater abundance of Bifidobacterium, Eubacterium, and Lactobacillus and the lower abundance of Bacteroides in the group after the intervention than that before the intervention. Hierarchical clustering of habitual dietary intake was performed based on the pattern of changes in the gut microbiota and were classified into distinct three clusters. Cluster I consisted of sucrose, cluster II mainly included fat intake, and cluster III mainly included carbohydrate intake. Moreover, the amount of change in Faecalibacterium was positively correlated with the intake of rice, but negatively correlated with the intake of bread. The intake of potato was negatively correlated with the amount of change in Akkermansia and Subdoligranulum.
