本文报道了1995年春对九洲港货运港区的鼠密度和灭鼠效果调查，结果鼠密度投药后(4．1％)比投药前(24．6％)有明显下降，灭鼠率达83．3％；根据九洲港货运港区鼠患情况，提出防鼠灭鼠建议。     

Analysis of job-share as a process of change

This paper describes the introduction of a district nursing job-share in a primary health care team. Exploring change theory and different strategies for organizational change, the implications for members of the team are considered. In addition, changes in the balance of power which resulted in conflict within the district nursing team are discussed.

尿中83—1除草剂代谢产物的鉴定

本文采用高效液相色谱、质增、紫外和红外光谱对经83—1除草剂(2,4—二氯—6—硝基酚铵)染毒后大鼠尿液中出现的5种组分的化学结构进行了鉴定,并用纯品对照进行确证,发现组分Ⅴ为未代谢的农药母体,其余4种为代谢产物,依次为:二氯氨基酚、二氯氨基酚丙酮酸结合物、二氯羟氨基酚缩合物和二氯氨基酚葡萄糖醛酸结合物。     

Developing nurse practitioners to develop practice: the experiences of nurses working on a Nursing Development Unit

Aim To elicit nurses' accounts of their involvement with nursing research and their interpretations of the meaning of these projects for their practice.
Background The links between research and practice development in health care are poorly understood and require further exploration in the light of the emerging research and development agenda within the National Health Service.
Methods Semi-structured interviews were conducted with 15 qualified nurses working on a Nursing Development Unit. The interviews were tape recorded, transcribed and analysed thematically.
Findings Data analysis identified two distinct groups—a core group of nurses actively engaged in the research projects and a peripheral group involved in data collection. The characteristics of the core group mirror the characteristics of those involved in non-research-based practice development activities.
Conclusions Engaging in research activities does not always result in the development of practice, however, there appears to be a link between practice development and critical thinking.

Pre-clinical Study of <Superscript>213</Superscript>Bi Labeled PAI2 for the Control of Micrometastatic Pancreatic Cancer

Purpose: The urokinase plasminogen activator (uPA) and its receptor (uPAR) are expressed by pancreatic cancer cells and can be targeted by the plasminogen activator inhibitor type 2 (PAI2). We have labeled PAI2 with ²¹³Bi to form the alpha conjugate (AC), and have studied its in vitro cytotoxicity and in vivo efficacy. Methods and Materials: The expression of uPA/uPAR on pancreatic cell lines, human pancreatic cancer tissues, lymph node metastases, and mouse xenografts were detected by immunohistochemistry, confocal microscopy, and flow cytometry. Cytotoxicity was assessed by the MTS and TUNEL assay. At 2 days post-cancer cell subcutaneous inoculation, mice were injected with AC by local or systemic injection. Results: uPA/uPAR is strongly expressed on pancreatic cancer cell lines and cancer tissues. The AC can target and kill cancer cells in vitro in a concentration-dependent fashion. Some 90% of TUNEL positive cells were found after incubation with 1.2 MBq/ml of AC. A single local injection of ~222 MBq/kg 2 days post-cell inoculation can completely inhibit tumor growth over 12 weeks, and an intraperitoneal injection of 111 MBq/kg causes significant tumor growth delay. Conclusions: ²¹³Bi-PAI2 can specifically target pancreatic cancer cells in vitro and inhibit tumor growth in vivo. ²¹³Bi-PAI2 may be a useful agent for the treatment of post-surgical pancreatic cancer patients with minimum residual disease.     

Reversal or reduction of glutamate and GABA transport in CNS pathology and therapy

A dysfunction of amino acid neurotransmitter transporters occurs in a number of central nervous system disorders, including stroke, epilepsy, cerebral palsy and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. This dysfunction can comprise a reversal of transport direction, leading to the release of neurotransmitter into the extracellular space, or an alteration in transporter expression level. This review analyses the role of glutamate and GABA transporters in the pathogenesis and therapy of a number of acute and chronic neurological disorders.     

应用经阴道彩色多普勒对健康育龄妇女子宫卵巢动脉血流状况的研究

目的 研究育龄妇女子宫、卵巢动脉血流变化规律。方法 应用经阴道彩色多普勒对４６０例妇女子宫、卵巢动脉血流在不同月经周期进行搏动指数（ＰＩ）、阻力指数（ＲＩ）检测。结果 血流参数在四个周期间有非常显著性差异（Ｐ〈０．０１）,同时功能侧子宫动脉与卵巢动脉阻抗参数也有差异（Ｐ〈０．０５）。结论 通过检测子宫、卵巢动脉血流有助于对妇科疾患的诊断提供帮助。
