腹部外科常见感染性疾病的病原菌及药敏试验研究

为了了解本地区本医院腹部外科感染性疾病病原菌的构成比和药物敏感率的变化,指导临床用药,我们采用美国BD公司生产的6B和7D两种增菌瓶采集标本和培养细菌,并用该公司生产的生化板和药敏板,对1994～1996年269例常见的普外科感染性疾病患者的手术标本进行前瞻性的细菌培养和药敏试验研究.     

CD5 (OKT1) augments CD3-mediated intracellular signaling events in human T lymphocytes

CD5 is expressed on thymocytes, all mature T cells, and a subset of mature B cells, and probably contributes to T-cell–B-cell adhesion. We assessed whether CD5-crosslinking by mAb augments T-cell stimulation. Plate-bound anti-CD5 or anti-CD3 mAb alone had no effect on any of the assessed activation parameters of resting T cells. However, concomitant signaling through both CD5 and CD3 by plate-bound antibodies resulted in marked increases in T-cell surface CD69 expression and T-cell metabolism, as assessed by the T cell's ability to reduce 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-5-(3-carboxylmethoxyphenyl)-2-(4-sulphophenyl)-2H-tetrazolium (MTS) to formazen. In addition, simultaneous cross-linking of CD5 and CD3 caused a significant (p < 0.001) increase in phosphatidylinositol hydrolysis in resting T cells compared to stimulation with anti-CD3 mAb alone or anti-CD3 mAb plus anti-CD5 isotype control antibody. These results indicate that CD5 augments signaling through CD3 and consequently functions as a costimulatory molecule for resting T cells.     

Retroperitoneal benign schwannoma. Report of a new case

The schwannoma is a tumor resulting from the Schwann cells of neural shwath, being its retroperitoneal localization quite unusual. This tumor is clinically unspecified and in most of the cases it originates symptoms coming from the compression of the close structures when its localization is retroperitoneal. Its diagnosis is quite often fortuitous being confirmed by anatomopathological study afterwards. The treatment is surgical radical exeresis with subsequent followup. We report a new case of this uncommon retroperitoneal pathology in a female patient showing a nonspecific clinic. Two years after the surgery she remains asymptomatic without any radiological evidence of recidive.     

Massive lymphatic involvement secondary to prostatic adenocarcinoma

Prostatic carcinoma may be diagnosed by the clinic manifestations or by the symptoms for locoregional disemination and distance metastasis. The lymphatic system is the first metastatic station, which is affected in a high percentage of cases. Event it may simulate lymphoproliferatives process and it si uncommon the lymphatic macroaffectation at first. In theses cases, the histologic and immunohistochemical study by the determination of prostatic specific antigen in lymph nodes can provice the diagnosis. Treatment of these tumors is palliative with hormonotherapy. Prognosis is bad with a low survival at five years.     

Computed tomography diagnosis of tracheobronchopathia osteochondroplastica

Tracheobronchopathia osteochondroplastica (TO) is a rare benign disease characterized by the presence of osseous and cartilaginous submucosal nodules projecting into the tracheobronchial tree. Most cases are asymptomatic and discovered incidentally at post‐mortem. We identified a case of TO on thoracic spiral CT and confirmed the diagnosis on bronchoscopy. This article reviews the imaging characteristics of TO, and shows the 3‐D virtual bronchoscopic and multiplanar reconstruction appearances of TO.
