Roentgen endovascular occlusion with spiral emboli was used in 240 patients with different diseases. The introduction of spiral emboli into the arteries of abdominal and retroperitoneal organs was fulfilled through usual angiographic catheters. Duration of the arterial occlusion was checked up in the following angiographic examinations and showed the devices described to be appropriate for a continuous arterial blockade. No complications resulting from the introduction of the spiral embolus were noted.  相似文献

BACKGROUND/PURPOSE: Laser-induced autofluorescence spectroscopy provides excellent possibilities for medical diagnostics of different tissue pathologies including cancer. However, to create the whole picture of pathological changes, investigators collect spectral information from patients in vivo or they study different tumor models to obtain objective information for fluorescent properties of every kind of healthy and diseased tissue. Therefore, it is very important to find the most appropriate, and close to the human skin, animal samples from the fluorescence point of view, which will allow the extrapolation of the animal data to human spectroscopic diagnostics. METHODS: In the present work, we examined the autofluorescence properties of different animal skin tissues, which are considered as the most common skin models. A nitrogen laser was used as an excitation source. Samples of healthy mouse, chicken and pig skin in vivo and/or ex vivo were studied and were compared with results obtained from investigations of healthy human skin in vivo. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: Specific features of the recorded spectra are discussed and the possible origin of the obtained fluorescence signals is proposed. Quantitative evaluation of data extrapolation for each skin type is also depicted.  相似文献

Structure and permeability of the ependymal lining the infundibular recess were studied in perinatal rats with silver impregnation, electron microscopy, radioautography, and tracer techniques. According to our data basal processes of ependymal cells reach the primary portal plexus linking the 3rd ventricle and the hypophysial portal system all through the perinatal period. After birth, some of the processes penetrate into the perivascular space of the primary portal plexus and abut there on the endothelium of capillaries. Ependymal cells of fetuses and neonates are joined by specialized junctions (tight junctions, gap junctions and zonulae adhaerentes). Intraventricularly injected ionic lanthanum crosses the ependymal lining of fetuses both trans- and extra-cellularly everywhere in the infundibular recess. By postnatal day 9 only the rostral portion of the recess remains readily permeable. Caudally, extracellular leakage becomes highly restricted, apparently due to the appearance of circumferential tight junctions. Finally, [3H]dopamine seems to penetrate through the ependymal lining in the same way as ionic lanthanum entering the portal capillaries. These findings suggest that the adenohypophysiotropic neurohormones can penetrate from the cerebrospinal fluid into the portal circulation from the very beginning of the establishment of the hypothalamo-hypophysial functional relationships during ontogenesis.  相似文献

Experiments on resting hepatocytes with inactive c-fos gene and active albumin gene. We revealed that DNA of the transcribed gene is less susceptible to the influence of endogenous Ca2+/Mg(2+)-dependent DNases in matrix-associated and highly soluble chromatin fractions. In the fraction of low soluble chromatin active gene was more accessible for DNases. Our results indicate that activity of endogenous DNases can change in the transcribed gene locus.  相似文献

Published data and our own observations are used to present the features of symptomatic epilepsy in multiple sclerosis, post-infectious acute disseminated encephalomyelitis, isolated cerebral angiitis, and Rasmussen’s encephalitis. Examples of the clinical analysis of the diagnostically most complex cases of inflammatory and demyelinating diseases with epilepsy syndrome are presented. The MRI features of structural brain injuries are discussed. The role of additional laboratory investigations, including cerebrospinal fluid analysis, in the diagnosis of this pathology, is discussed.  相似文献
