A case report of double cystic duct during laparoscopic cholecystectomy in patient with chronic calcular cholecystitis

IntroductionAbnormal anatomy of the biliary tree predisposes patients to higher risks of ductal injury and postoperative complications. One of the extremely rare abnormalities of the cystic duct is the duplication of the cystic duct with a single gallbladder. The diagnosis is usually established during surgery. we report a case of double cystic duct with literature review.Presentation of caseA forty-two years old female patient who complained of recurrent biliary colic 9 months prior to the presentation. Murphy’s sigh was negative and with no other relevant clinical signs.Diagnosis and therapeutic interventionAbdominal ultrasound showed multiple gall stones; the largest one was about 11 mm in diameter. Laparoscopic cholecystectomy was done under general anesthesia with 4 ports insertion. A double cystic duct accidentally encountered after clipping and cutting what was apparently a single cystic duct. Intraoperative cholangiogram was done to confirm the anomaly and exclude CBD injury.ConclusionDouble cystic duct is a very rare variant of the cystic duct anomaly. Proper knowledge of this anomaly should be kept in mind to avoid any unnecessary steps.     

多孔三套件肾穿刺针治疗肾囊肿

目的：为治疗肾囊肿和多囊肾提供一种更有效、安全的手段。方法：自行、研制了两型多孔肾脏穿刺针,Ⅰ型由多孔外鞘、内鞘和针芯构成;Ⅱ型由绝缘外套、多孔外鞘、内鞘和针芯构成。两型多孔肾脏穿刺针经皮穿刺治疗肾囊肿和多囊肾病人２６例,其中Ⅰ型针治疗单发性肾囊肿１３只、多发性肾囊肿６只、多囊肾９只;Ⅱ型针在多囊肾开放去顶手术后行隧道式穿刺９只。结果：全部病例收到良好效果。结论：多孔肾脏穿刺针隧道式穿刺法治疗肾脏囊肿是一种有效、安全的方法。     

Treatment of lymphangiomas of the head and neck in children by intralesional injection of OK‐432 (Picinabil)

The treatments previously used for lymphangiomas of the head and neck in children‐surgery and intralesional injection of sclerosants–are associated with significant morbidity. A new treatment–intralesional injection of OK‐432–was used for lymphangiomas of the head and neck in 11 children. The results were total shrinkage in two, marked shrinkage in two, slight shrinkage in five and no response in two. The results were not affected by previous surgery nor by whether aspiration prior to injection was possible. There were no recurrences in those children in whom shrinkage occurred and no child had subsequent surgery following injection. The results of this series support those of previous series showing that OK‐432 injection is an effective and safe treatment for lymphangiomas of the head and neck in children.

盆腔囊性肿块超声手术对比及与中医辨证分型关系

本文对８３例患者盆腔囊性肿块超声诊断结果与手术及病理检查进行对比,提高了超声诊断的准确性。同时结合中医辨证分型拟找寻出中医分型与超声诊断的内在联系,以提高中医诊疗水平     

涎腺腺样囊性癌CKs及MSA免疫组化观察

目的：应用一组抗体探讨涎腺腺样性癌（ＡＣＣ）的免疫组化特征。方法：通过ＡＢＣ免疫组化染色检测了３０例涎腺ＡＣＣ中５４Ｋｄ及６６／５７Ｋｄ细胞角蛋白（ＣＫｓ）的分布。结果：ＡＣＣ基本上由５４Ｋｄ阳性细胞和ＭＳＡ阳性细胞构成,这两类细胞不同比例的肿瘤性增生形成ＡＣＣ的不同组织学构型。结论：ＡＣＣ免疫组化表型与正常省腺组织中的导管／腺泡单位的表型特征相似。

Physiological and psychosocial contributors to malnutrition in children with cystic fibrosis: review

Malnutrition was once thought to be an inevitable consequence of cystic fibrosis (CF). It is now considered preventable but still contributes considerable morbidity in children. Malnutrition is linked to poorer pulmonary function, reduced survival and quality of life. As the anticipated lifespan of children with CF continues to lengthen, the prevention of malnutrition attains greater importance. This review explores the complex organic and psychosocial factors implicated in the aetiology of malnutrition associated with CF.     

Intracranial adenoid cystic carcinoma mimicking meningioma: report of two cases

Two cases of intracranial adenoid cystic carcinoma mimicking meningioma are reported. In one, MRI showed not only a homogeneously enhancing extra-axial tumour attached to the dura mater of the posterior cranial fossa, but also surrounding dural enhancement, the dural tail sign. In the second, CT demonstrated a well-demarcated enhancing extra-axial tumour, indistinguishable from a sphenoid ridge meningioma extending into the orbit. The neuroradiological features of intracranial adenoid cystic carcinoma may thus closely resemble those of meningioma.
