Rapidly growing calcified cerebellar astrocytoma in infants

We report the case of an infant with a cerebellar astrocytoma that showed marked calcification within only 6 months. In general, only slow-growing tumors tend to calcify. To our knowledge, no other case of such rapid calcification in cerebellar astrocytoma has been reported.

本文采用针刺加鹿茸精注射液穴位注射及中药治疗男性不育297例,痊愈142例,占47.8％,显效81例,占27.3％,有效53例,占17.8％,无效21例,占7.1％,三者联合运用效果较满意。     

Andrology: Transrectal electroejaculation in combination with in-vitro fertilization: an effective treatment of anejaculatory infertility after testicular cancer

Treatment of non-seminomatous testicular cancer often leadsto infertility due to anejaculation/retrograde ejaculation andpoor sperm quality. In these men spermatozoa may be obtainedby transrectal electroejaculation (TE), but the optimal strategyfor assisted procreation in these couples is not known. Ouraim was to examine whether TE and conventional in-vitro fertilization(IVF) would be successful. A total of 10 couples, with long-standinginfertility due to anejaculation or retrograde ejaculation aftertreatment for testicular cancer 5–14 years earlier, werereferred to our unit. All men underwent diagnostic TE undergeneral anaesthesia. Spermatozoa were recovered in nine cases.The antegrade fraction was prepared and used for IVF. Spermquality was variable and conventional IVF was considered impossiblein three cases. Altogether six IVF treatment cycles in six couplesresulted in five pregnancies, of which four resulted in a deliveryand one resulted in a spontaneous abortion. One additional pregnancyis ongoing after transfer of cryopreserved embryos. The fertilizationrate was 54% (33/61) and the cleavage rate was 97% (32/33).No complications relating to the procedure have been encountered.     

改良额颞-颞下窝入路切除中颅凹底内外沟通瘤

目的：为了更完全地切除中颅凹底内外沟通性肿瘤。方法：采用经过改良的Ｍｉｃｋｅｙ额颞颞下窝入路。其改良主要是将额骨瓣连同其表面附着的颞肌以及游离后的眶颧骨块一并向下翻开，并将手术程序作了相应改变。结果：成功切除了１３例肿瘤。术后３例恢复了轻工作，６例能自主生活，３例生活仍需别人照顾，１例复发未再次手术。结论：采用改良的额颞颞下窝入路对中颅凹底内外沟通性肿瘤暴露充分，切除广泛。Ｍｉｃｋｅｙ入路改良的优点：颞肌血运的保留，有利于骨瓣与正常颅骨的早期融合。同时颞肌附着点的保留，有利于咀嚼功能。     

可见光对培养的人RPE细胞生长的影响以及SOD和CAT的防护作用

目的：观察外源性超氧化物歧化酶(superoxide dismutase,SOD)和过氧化氢酶(caralase，CAT)对培养的人视网膜色素上皮(retinal pigment epithelium,RPE)细胞光化学损伤的保护作用． 方法:将铺满期原代培养的人RPE细胞分为三组．A组直接作光照处理，B组在培养液中加入SOD(90U/mL)和CAT(900U/ml)后30分钟进行光照，c组为对照组．光照强度2 400 Lx，时间6小时．处理结束后将三组细胞以2.4X10⁵/ml的密度分别接种于24孔板，每孔0.4m1l．于接种后1、3、5和7天观察细胞形志，井进行细胞计数． 结果：光照后3天时，A、B组细胞生长缓慢，C组细胞生长活跃，3天后B组细胞生长接近C组，比A组明显活跃(P＜0.05)相似文献   

新生儿肺出血29例临床病理分析

1962～1986年25年间,经尸检病理确诊的29例新生儿肺出血,以早产儿和低出生体重儿为主,生后一周内发病者27例。本组20例有窒息史,口鼻有血性分泌物流出者17例。本文描述了新生儿肺出血的临床表现和病理特征,以及对新生儿肺出血的病因作了讨论。     

Biochemical evidence for the involvement of central serotonergic neurotransmission in the action of the antidepressant drug Medifoxamine

Medifoxamine, an antidepressant agent which has an original chemical structure, has been shown through in vitro studies, utilising radioligand binding in tissue homogenates, to bind with moderately high affinity to 5-HT_1c and 5-HT₂ receptor subtypes and to 5-HT uptake sites (IC₅₀ 950, 980, and 1,500 nM, respectively). It has been shown to bind in vivo to rat brain 5-HT₂ receptors after acute treatment with high dose (50 mg/kg, i.e., 133.9 μmol/kg). After 14 days continuous treatment with low dose (20 mg/kg, 53.6 μmol/kg), a decrease in the capacity of [³H]-5-HT uptake and a dose-dependent down-regulation of 5-HT₂ receptors in rat cerebral cortex were observed. These results indicate that medifoxamine, which has been shown previously to act through dopaminergic systems, interacts also with central serotonergic neurotransmission and particularly with the 5-HT₂ receptors, which could contribute to its antidepressant effect.     

The stimulant effect of modafinil on wakefulness is not associated with an increase in anxiety in mice

Modafinil is a new drug used in the treatment of narcolepsy. Its administration in mice induced a dose-dependent increase in locomotor activity. The effects of modafinil were compared with those of dexamphetamine on three tests that assessed the anxiety level (drugs were used at doses which induced a roughly similar stimulation of locomotor activity). Dexamphetamine increased the latency of exploration of a white compartment, increased thigmotaxis in an open-field and decreased the time spent in the open arms of an elevated plus-maze. None of these responses was significantly modified by modafinil. We conclude that modafinil does not share the anxiogenic effects of dexamphetamine.     

联合抗青光眼手术治疗不易控制眼压青光眼的研究

采用板层下巩膜床双咬切、睫状体剥离合并睛状体上腔植入硅橡胶条的抗青光眼联合手术治疗不易控制眼压的青光眼46例52眼，其中继发性青光眼27眼，原发闭角青光眼10眼，原发开角青光眼6眼，先天、青少年型青光眼7眼，虹膜角膜内皮综合征2眼。手术总有效率达94％。本术式具有小梁切除、睫状体剥离、睫状体扁平部引流的功能。作者认为用硅橡胶条作植入物，比异体或自体组织作植入物更为理想。     

上海市少年儿童住院医疗保险费用分析

本文研究了上海市少年儿童住院医疗保险的费用水平、特点和影响因素。研究结果表明:手术与否、患者年龄、就诊地点、家长医疗保健制度和医院等级的差异造成次均费用的差异;次均费用构成比较合理,药品费比例低于全市水平。病种费用居前三位的是白血病、肺炎和先天性心脏病;特殊病种占总医疗服务人次的4.90％,而医疗费用占总费用的32.57％。
