Primary seminoma of the retroperitoneum

A rare case of primary seminoma in the retroperitoneum is described. Ultrasound detected a huge hypoechoic mass and correlative computed tomography showed a midline, homogeneous, lobulated mass in a man who presented for anuria. Graft-dependent recurrence of hyperparathyroidism: imaging with frequency amplitude and encoded Doppler sonography

A 48-year-old woman underwent total parathyroidectomy with autotransplantation into the left forearm due to secondary hyperparathyroidism. Recurrence of hyperparathyroidism was observed 5 years later. B-mode high-resolution ultrasonography of the left forearm demonstrated an ill-defined hypoechoic lesion. Frequency- and amplitude-encoded Doppler sonography revealed marked hypervascularity, which was diagnostic for graft hyperplasia in association with the history of the patient. Multimodality imaging assessment of meniscal ossicle

A case of meniscal ossicles occurring in the left knee of a 23-year-old woman is presented. Radiographs showed two calcified lesions at the posteromedial aspect of the knee which were interpreted as loose bodies. Sonography, computed tomography arthrography and magnetic resonance imaging showed the fragments within the posterior horn of the medial meniscus permitting a diagnosis of meniscal ossicles. These techniques can detect meniscal ossicles and exclude intra-articular loose bodies. Aberrant cervical thymus in an infant: an unusual cause of stridor

We report an 8-month-old infant presenting with stridor caused by a nonpalpable neck mass discovered at imaging and surgery. The diagnosis of aberrant thymic tissue was confirmed at histopathology. The authors reviewed the literature and discuss the embryology, imaging findings and differential diagnosis of this rare disorder. 临床超声技术在腹部淋巴结病变检查治疗中的应用

目的　研究分析腹部淋巴结主要病变的超声声像图特征及超声引导活检的临床应用价值。方法　对腹部淋巴结病变进行超声检查和超声引导活检。结果　超声检查可准确显示腹部淋巴结病变的数目、大小、形态、部位及其内部结构 ,能提示与周围组织的关系 ,从而作出诊断与鉴别诊断 ;超声引导能成功进行穿刺活检。结论　超声检查和超声引导活检是诊断腹部淋巴结病变的一种简便、快捷 ,准确、实用的检查手段 ,对明确临床诊断 ,指导临床治疗和观察病变进展与临床疗效 ,均具有良好的应用价值。     

2-取代亚肼基-1,3-二硫杂环戊烷类化合物的合成及抗菌活性

目的为了寻找高效、低毒的农用杀菌剂,用超声波法合成新型的2-取代亚肼基-1,3-二硫杂环戊烷类化合物。方法以CS2、NH2NH2·H2O、BrCH2CH2Br为原料,在超声波辐射下合成中间体1,3-二硫杂环戊烷,然后再和取代芳香醛缩合得到3种未见文献报道的新化合物。结果总收率在60%以上。结构经IR,MS,1HNMR和元素分析所确证。结论该类化合物合成方法简单。初步的生物活性实验表明,这3种化合物对大肠杆菌、肺炎克雷伯氏菌、草绿色链球菌等有较好的抑杀作用。
