Fabricating a crown to retrofit an existing abutment tooth for a partial removable dental prosthesis (PRDP) is one of the most time-consuming and labor-intensive clinical procedures. In particular, when the patient is concerned with esthetic aspects of restoration, the task of fabricating becomes more daunting. Many techniques for the fabrication of all-metallic or metal-ceramic crowns have been discussed in the literature. This article was aimed to describe a simple fabrication method in which a retrofitting crown was fabricated for a precise fit using a ceramic-pressed-to-metal system.  相似文献

The present study aims is to investigate the metabolic mechanism of Xue-Fu-Zhu-Yu decoction (XFZYD) in the treatment of blood-stasis syndrome in Coronary Heart Disease (CHD). To that end, 30 CHD patients with Blood-Stasis Syndrome (BSS) and 20 healthy subjects were enrolled. LC-Q-TOF/MS analysis determined that in comparison between CHD with BSS patients (Group A) and healthy subjects (Group C), 59 significantly differential metabolites in the positive mode and 18 significantly differential metabolites in the negative mode. The metabolite constituents in the plasma of 30 CHD with BSS patients before (group A) and after 30 days of treatment (Group B), and 20 healthy subjects (Group C) were analyzed using LC-Q-TOF/MS and GC-MS. Based on multivariate statistical analysis (PCA, PLS-DA and OPLS-DA), we determined 69 differential metabolites. The levels of hemorheology indexes were significantly down-regulated after treatment. Metabolic pathway attribution analysis showed that lipid metabolism, amino acid metabolism and bile acid metabolism pathways are involved. Our study identifies the metabolic networks of CHD and demonstrates the efficacy of this metabolomics approach to systematically study the therapeutic effect of XFZYC on CHD.  相似文献

Hydatidiform moles (HM) are characterized by an abnormal proliferating trophoblast with a potential for a malignant transformation. Similar to other human tumors, trophoblastic pathogenesis is likely a multistep process involving several molecular and genetic alterations. The study was performed to investigate the expression patterns of c-erbB-2 and Bcl-2 oncoproteins, p53, p21WAF1/CIP1 and p63 tumor suppressor proteins and Ki-67 cell proliferation marker in HM.We conducted a retrospective study of 220 gestational products, including 39 hydropic abortions (HA), 41 partial HM (PHM) and 140 complete HM (CHM). The expression of c-erbB-2, Bcl-2, p53, p21WAF1/CIP1, p63 and Ki-67 was investigated by immunohistochemistry on archival tissues. c-erbB-2 expression was observed in three PHM and 10 CHM. Bcl-2 immunostaining was significantly higher in PHM (61%) and CHM (70.7%) compared with HA (7.7%, p?=? 0.001 and p?<? 0.0001, respectively). p53 expression was stronger in CHM (73.6%) compared with PHM (24.4%, p < 0.0001) and HA (12.8%, p < 0.0001). p21WAF1/CIP1 staining was observed as well in molar and non-molar gestations (p?>? 0.05). p63 immunoexpression was significantly described in CHM (85.7%) and PHM (78%) compared with HA (10.2%, p < 0.0001 and p = 0.0001, respectively). Ki-67 was significantly expressed in CHM (72.1%) compared with HA (46.2%, p = 0.005).Altered expression of Bcl-2, p53, p63 and Ki-67 reflects the HM pathological development. Immunohistochemical analysis is beneficial to recognize the HM molecular and pathogenic mechanisms. Furthermore, it could serve as a useful adjunct to conventional methods for refining HM diagnosis.  相似文献

BackgroundIt remains unknown how biomechanics change in posterior lateral knee using different fixation techniques in lateral meniscal allograft transplantation (MAT) during simulated toe-touch partial weight-bearing. This study aimed to compare the biomechanical effects on posterior knee between bridge and bone plug fixation in lateral MAT.MethodsIntact knee, bone bridge fixation, and bone plug fixation were tested with 500 N of axial load during knee flexion at 0°, 30°, and 60°, which simulated toe-touch partial weight-bearing. Contact area and peak pressure were assessed on posterior knee and the shift of peak pressure position were measured.ResultsOn the posterior lateral compartment, the contact mechanics of bone bridge fixation were similar to those of the intact knee (all P-values > 0.05), but its peak pressure was higher than that of intact knee at 60° (P = 0.002). For bone plug fixation, the contact area of the posterior lateral knee was significantly lower than those of intact knee and bone bridge fixation at 30° and 60° (all P-values < 0.05). The peak pressure of the posterior lateral knee was higher than that of the intact knee at all flexions and higher than that of bone bridge fixation at 30° and 60° (all P-values < 0.05). The peak pressure position of bone plug fixation shifted more laterally and posteriorly compared with intact knee and bone bridge fixation during knee flexion.ConclusionBone bridges could maintain posterior knee biomechanics better than bone plug fixation during knee bending during partial weight-bearing.  相似文献

ObjectiveTo evaluate the correlations between PADUA and RENAL scores, WIT and postoperative complications in a cohort of patients who underwent elective open or minimally invasive nephron sparing surgery for renal cell carcinoma.Material and methodsWe analyzed 96 consecutive patients who underwent partial nephrectomy for renal cell carcinoma between 2004 and 2013 at our Institution. The Spearman test was used to compare categorical variables. For all statistical analyses, a two-sided P < .05 was considered statistically significant.ResultsThe median (IQR) PADUA score was 7 (7-8) and the median (IQR) RENAL score was 7 (6-8). The median (IQR) warm ischemia time was 14 min (8-20). Low grade and high grade postoperative complications were found in 27 (28.1%) and 6 (6.3%) patients, respectively. PADUA risk group categories significantly correlated with WIT > 20 minutes and high grade postoperative complications, respectively (P = .04), regardless of the surgical approach. RENAL risk group categories significantly predicted longer hilar clamping time in our cohort (P = .04), but no statistically significant correlations with high grade postoperative complications were found.ConclusionsIn our retrospective series nephrometric scores demonstrated to significantly predict longer warm ischemia time and higher postoperative complications, especially in those patients with more challenging and complex renal tumors. Therefore, when planning to perform partial nephrectomy, urologists should widely use these comprehensive tools.  相似文献

目的 建立HPLC测定飞蛾藤属植物多指标含量的方法,为飞蛾藤属植物的质量控制提供参考。方法 采用Agilent 5 TC-C18色谱柱(250 mm×4.6 mm,5 μm),流动相乙腈-0.1%磷酸梯度洗脱,体积流量1.0 mL·min-1,柱温25 ℃,检测波长345 nm;并结合聚类分析、主成分分析及偏最小二乘判别分析评价飞蛾藤属植物中9种成分的差异。结果 9种成分在各自范围内线性关系良好(r>0.999 0),精密度、稳定性及重复性试验结果的RSD均<3.00%,平均加样回收率为97.29%~103.21%。聚类分析、主成分分析及偏最小二乘判别分析结果显示,16批飞蛾藤属植物可明显分开,组内样品有很强的相似性,而组间样品差异较大。通过PLS-DA中变量重要性投影分析发现4个差异性指标成分,分别为绿原酸、异绿原酸A、N-反式-阿魏酰酪胺和东莨菪内酯。结论 建立了简便、精密的飞蛾藤属植物多指标含量测定方法,且通过统计方法证明绿原酸、异绿原酸A、N-反式-阿魏酰酪胺和东莨菪内酯为飞蛾藤属植物质量差异性评价的指标成分,为飞蛾藤属植物的区分及质量控制提供参考。  相似文献
