The visual pursuit test is a method that collects and analyzes the characteristics of pursuit eye movements and examines the function of the eye movement system. This paper analyzes the model parameters of the smooth pursuit eye movement system in order to explore a method for improving the analysis. The input-output relationship of the smooth pursuit system can be expressed by a quasilinear model. We compute the model parameters (gain, phase, spectral purity, cross covariance) by digital signal processing. Eye movement is recorded by electrooculogram. Both eyes are tested individually. The visual target moves at frequencies of 0.2, 0.4, 0.8, 1.2, and 1.6 Hz. Ranges are gain, 1.01 to 0.70; phase, -0.1 ° to -66 °; spectral purity, 0.97 to 0.70; and cross covariance, 0.99 to 0.26. We tested 40 normal subjects as well as patients with ataxia (8), vertigo (18), and ophthalmoplegia (9). The oculomotor system of normal subjects functions as a linear system in the performance of this test at 0.2 to 0.8 Hz. The spectral purity dropped to about 0.70 at 1.6 Hz. The variability of all measures increases greatly at 1.6 Hz, which indicates that this target motion exceeds the tracking ability of many normal subjects and that the oculomotor system of normal subjects functions as a nonlinear system in this condition. Statistical tests show no significant differences between sex, age, and the two eyes. The model parameters tentatively proved effective in clinical application.  相似文献

Objective To evaluate the use of the saphenous artery as an alternative access for endovascular procedures in the porcine model. Methods Fourteen adult pigs (25-35kg) were used in this study, 3 pigs from an acute study and 11 from chronic studies. A 2-3 cm incision was made and a saphenous artery cutdown was performed in 24 sides. Micropunc ture sets (Boston Scientific) or 18 G puncture needles were used to access the artery. Different sizes of introducers (4-7F) were used to establish endovascular access. Angiographic catheters were then used to confirm if the access was usable. Four saphenous arteries were explanted in the pigs from a chronic study 4 to 28 days after surgical procedure. Results The saphenous artery was very easy to expose and 4-5 F introducer sheaths were able to be inserted to establish access for endovascular procedures in the pigs. The saphenous artery was unable to accomodate an introducer with a size larger than 6 F. Four saphenous arteries were injured when 5 and 6 F introducers were used, but angiographic procedures could still be performed. Morphologic evaluation of the explanted arteries demonstrated occlusion of the saphenous arteries without injury or disruption of the adjacent femoral arteries. Conclusion The saphenous artery can be used as an access site in pigs for angiographic and interventional procedures if the catheter size is less than 6 F. This vessel is easier to access and can preserve the femoral artery for repeat procedures in the future.  相似文献

目的 通过构建动物模型,为进一步研究胃癌转移及其生长过程中的一系列生物学表现提供实验材料。方法 根据饲养的不同阶段在饮水和饲料中添加MNNG喂养Wistar雄性大鼠,定期取材,HE染色,观察鉴定。结果 MNNG喂饲24周可见胃黏膜内癌;40周可见黏膜下层及肌层浸润癌。结论 阶段口服MNNG混合法可成功诱发Wistar大鼠胃腺癌。  相似文献

目的运用介入方法建立犬颅内动脉分叉部囊状动脉瘤模型。方法6条犬全麻后,采用血管内介入方法,用冠状动脉球囊导管扩张右颈总动脉近段,再用可脱球囊于扩张段远端将其栓塞,制作成6个分叉部动脉瘤。分别于术后1、2、3d行DSA检查并切除动脉瘤做病理组织学检查。结果6条犬成功获得6个动脉瘤模型。动脉瘤的平均宽度和平均长度在3d内逐渐减少。结论犬动脉瘤模型较好地模拟了人颅内动脉瘤大小、形态及DSA表现,可用于介入治疗新材料、新技术的实验研究。本动脉瘤模型的建立快速、可靠、可重复性强。  相似文献

BACKGROUND: Laparoscopic suturing and tying constitute advanced minimally invasive surgery skills. Developing proficiency in the standard methods with needle drivers is often an arduous process. Recent advances in laparoscopic instrumentations has allowed for easier methods of suturing and tying. This study investigated the hypothesis that the use of a specialized suturing device and a specialized tying device allows inexperienced medical students to suture and tie laparoscopically. METHODS: Preclinical medical students who had not received any training in open or laparoscopic surgery were included in this investigation. Each student was given a 5-minute demonstration of a specialized suturing device and a specialized tying device. The medical students were not allowed to deploy either device before actual use. After the demonstration, each student was given the device to use in a porcine model. Times were recorded and a subjective grade was given for each student. RESULTS: Twenty medical students were involved in this study. All medical students were able to complete the task of suturing and tying. The average time to suture was 104.6 seconds and the average time to tying was 31.2 seconds. The average subjective performance grade was 90 (out of 100). CONCLUSION: Specialized devices are easy to learn and use for laparoscopic suturing and tying with minimal instruction even for inexperienced medical students. Even surgeons who are not well versed in laparoscopic surgery should be able to suture and tie with certain laparoscopic instruments.  相似文献

家兔急性周围型肺栓塞影像模型的制备   总被引:4,自引:0,他引:4  
目的探讨用可吸收性明胶海绵制作家兔急性肺栓塞(PE)影像模型的可行性。方法20只实验组家兔随机分成5组,采用明胶海绵栓子经股静脉插管制成急性PE的动物模型。栓塞后行肺动脉造影检查,栓塞后2h、24h、3d、7d、14d(A、B、C、D、E组)分批处死家兔,解剖肺动脉并观察栓塞区肺组织病理变化。对照组2只注入生理盐水,分别于第7天,14天处死。结果20只实验组家兔1只麻醉意外死亡,19只制备模型后成活,模型制备成功率95%。肺动脉造影显示46支叶及段肺动脉栓塞。肺动脉解剖共发现栓子65个,栓塞动脉50支。A组肺体积肿胀,色深红,镜下观察见肺组织充血。B组、C组、D组、E组中15只家兔肺表面呈苍白色、暗红色、黑色或苍白色区内见黑色坏死区,另外1只仅见肺体积肿大,肺颜色无变化,E组1只第3天左侧发生气胸,肺萎缩;光镜下观察肺组织水肿、淤血、出血、坏死,炎性细胞浸润,肺泡含气减少,肺泡支架结构破坏,E组2例栓塞区见肺组织机化,栓子周围有血小板血栓和/或混合血栓形成。对照组2只家兔肺部仅见少量炎性细胞浸润。结论用明胶海绵作为栓塞物制备家兔急性肺栓塞模型,其方法简便、成功率高,为肺栓塞影像学研究提供了一种较好的实验模型。  相似文献
