It is unknown whether a healthy diet or unhealthy diet combined with specific supplements may jointly contribute to incidence of obesity and cardiovascular disease (CVD). We included 69,990 participants from the 45 and Up Study who completed both baseline (2006–2009) and follow-up (2012–2015) surveys. We found that compared to participants with a long-term healthy diet and no supplement consumption, those with a long-term healthy diet combined with multivitamins and minerals (MVM) or fish oil consumption were associated with a lower incidence of CVD (p < 0.001); whilst those with an unhealthy diet and no MVM or fish oil consumption were associated with a higher risk of obesity (p < 0.05). Compared to participants with a long-term healthy diet and no calcium consumption, the combination of a long-term healthy diet and calcium consumption was linked to a lower risk of CVD (IRR = 0.87, 95% CI: 0.78; 0.96). In conclusion, a long-term healthy diet combined with MVM or fish oil was associated with a lower incidence of CVD. Participants who maintained a healthy diet and used calcium supplements were associated with a lower incidence of obesity. However, these associations were not found among those with an unhealthy diet, despite taking similar supplements.  相似文献

Olive oil is a functional food shown to have a variety of bioactive effects. Therefore, we expect it to be a novel functional food with an exercise-mimetic effect on skeletal muscles. This study aimed to investigate the effect of olive oil on the endurance capacity and muscle metabolism in mice. Mice fed a 7% (w/w) olive oil diet for eight weeks showed improved treadmill running endurance and increased intramuscular triacylglycerol (IMTG) accumulation in the gastrocnemius muscle compared to soybean oil diet-fed controls. The increase in running endurance with olive oil intake was independent of the muscle fiber type. To elucidate underlying the mechanism of elevated IMTG levels, we examined the expression levels of the genes related to lipid metabolism. We found that the expression of diacylglycerol O-acyltransferase1 (DGAT1) was significantly upregulated in the muscle of olive oil diet-fed mice. In addition, the olive oil diet-fed mice showed no metabolic impairment or differences in growth profiles compared to the controls. These results suggest that dietary olive oil intake affects muscle metabolism and muscle endurance by increasing energy accumulation.  相似文献

Background. Foods rich in saturated fatty acids (SFAs) have been discouraged by virtue of their cholesterol-raising potential, but this effect is modulated by the food source and background level of carbohydrate. Objective. We aimed to compare the consumption of palm stearin (PS) versus butter on circulating cholesterol responses in the setting of both a low-carbohydrate/high-fat (LC/HF) and high-carbohydrate/low-fat (HC/LF) diet in healthy subjects. We also explored effects on plasma lipoprotein particle distribution and fatty acid composition. Methods. We performed a randomized, controlled-feeding, cross-over study that compared a PS- versus a Butter-based diet in a group of normocholesterolemic, non-obese adults. A controlled canola oil-based ‘Run-In’ diet preceded the experimental PS and Butter diets. All diets were eucaloric, provided for 3-weeks, and had the same macronutrient distribution but varied in primary fat source (40% of the total fat). The same Run-In and cross-over experiments were done in two separate groups who self-selected to either a LC/HF (n = 12) or a HC/LF (n = 12) diet track. The primary outcomes were low-density lipoprotein-cholesterol (LDL-C), high-density lipoprotein (HDL)-C, triglycerides, and LDL particle distribution. Results. Compared to PS, Butter resulted in higher LDL-C in both the LC/HF (13.4%, p = 0.003) and HC/LF (10.8%, p = 0.002) groups, which was primarily attributed to large LDL I and LDL IIa particles. There were no differences between PS and Butter in HDL-C, triglycerides, or small LDL particles. Oxidized LDL was lower after PS than Butter in LC/HF (p = 0.011), but not the HC/LF group. Conclusions. These results demonstrate that Butter raises LDL-C relative to PS in healthy normocholesterolemic adults regardless of background variations in carbohydrate and fat, an effect primarily attributed to larger cholesterol-rich LDL particles.  相似文献

目的研究体内外自由基的形成及意义。方法用TBA-醋酸法检测正常人血清,血浆,胸腹腔渗、漏出液,各细胞提取物及服用西洋参前后的血浆和经过氧化处理后的正常人、糖尿病、高血压、冠心病患者的血清及食用油脂、相应烟雾冷凝油的过氧化脂质(LPO)含量。结果各细胞均有自由基反应,以血小板为最高。血清LPO明显高于血浆(P<0.001),胸腹腔渗出液LPO明显高于漏出液(P<0.001),过氧化处理后的糖尿病、高血压、冠心病患者血清的LPO明显高于过氧化处理后的正常人血清LPO(P<0.001);油脂质量越高,LPO含量越低,相应的烟雾冷凝油的LPO是食用油脂的14.3~35.6倍。结论生物、化学和物理因素均可引起脂质过氧化,不管何种因素所致的脂质过氧化,其反应过程及其产物LPO对生物体都有严重的损害作用。  相似文献

目的 :研究硅凝胶型乳房假体植入大鼠体内后凝胶外渗对机体的影响。方法 :取 40只健康SD雌性大鼠分成A、B、C、D 4组 ,A、B、C 3组分别植入实验用完整的硅凝胶型假体、刺破的硅凝胶型假体及生理盐水充注型假体于大鼠背侧皮下 ,D组为空白对照。术前测出血液中有机硅的浓度。 6个月后取出假体观察 ,进行假体包膜组织学检查及大鼠血液中术后有机硅的浓度测定。结果 :A、B、C 3组纤维包膜组织学特征无明显差异 ,B组纤维包膜中光镜下发现外渗的凝胶颗粒。术后与术前 4组大鼠间血液中有机硅的浓度比较 ,差异均无显著性。结论 :完整的硅凝胶假体、人为刺破外壳的硅凝胶假体与生理盐水充注型假体的组织学反应无明显差异 ,外渗的凝胶局限在纤维包膜的内层 ,也不会随血液或淋巴到机体其他部位。  相似文献

目的研究蚕蛹油多烯脂肪酸对大鼠体内脂质代谢及多烯脂肪酸代谢的影响.方法用高脂膳食喂养大鼠建立高脂模型,观察蚕蛹油(富含α-亚麻酸)对大鼠血清中甘油三酯(TG)、总胆固醇(TC)、高密度脂蛋白胆固醇(HDLC)、HDL-C/TC、丙二醛(MDA)及超氧化物歧化酶(SOD)、二十碳五烯酸(EPA)、二十二碳六烯酸(DHA)和肝脏中MDA含量的影响.结果蚕蛹油可以降低大鼠血清中TC及MDA含量,升高HDL-C/TC比值,降低肝组织中MDA含量,并增加大鼠体内EPA和DHA合成.结论蚕蛹油可增加大鼠体内EPA和DHA的生成,并具有调整血脂、抗脂质过氧化作用.  相似文献

考察了加成型硅橡胶在真空环境中经1000ESH紫外辐照后的性能变化。结果表明,辐照后材料均出现发黄的现象,光学透过率大幅度 下降,同时加入硅酸钾包覆后制备的热控涂层反射率下降。经原位测试与离位测试,发现加成型硅橡胶在两种不同条件下测得的结果差异较小,而在有机硅橡胶中加入ZnO后原位与离位测试结果则差异明显,表现出明显的漂白作用。  相似文献

目的 研究烹调油烟对体外和体内小鼠淋巴细胞DNA损伤作用。方法 采用单细胞凝胶电泳 ,检测细胞DNA单链断裂 ,观察在不同剂量及浓度下的DNA损伤情况。结果 以 10、50、10 0及 2 0 0 μg/L的油烟颗粒有机提取物染毒小鼠淋巴细胞 ,各剂量组均可引起小鼠淋巴细胞DNA损伤。以 10、2 0、4 0mg/m3的烹调油烟染毒小鼠 ,也可引起小鼠体内淋巴细胞DNA损伤。烹调油烟引起的小鼠体外和体内淋巴细胞DNA损伤均存在剂量 -效应关系 ,且整体染毒显示存在时间 -效应关系。结论 一定剂量的烹调油烟能引起小鼠淋巴细胞DNA损伤  相似文献

A 46-year-old male presented with breathlessness for a few months. He had been operated twice for liver hydatid cysts and once for right pulmonary hydatid cysts at other hospitals. Now he was found to have one hydatid cyst in the upper lobe of the left lung and multiple hydatid cysts adjoining left heart border. On computed tomography (CT) scan chest and echocardiography, it was difficult to ascertain whether these cysts were pulmonary or intrapericardial. Left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) was 25%. Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) was positive for hydatid. Left posterolateral thoracotomy revealed dead hydatid cyst in upper lobe of the lung that was removed. Infected mother hydatid cyst was encountered inside pericardial sac. Scores of daughter hydatid cysts, varying in size from 1 to 30 mm, were scooped out intact from the pericardial cavity. There was significant improvement in cardiac activity, once the tamponade effect of hydatid cyst was removed. Pericardium was about 1 cm thick with lot of purulent and necrotic slough. To prevent future constrictive pericarditis, subtotal pericardiectomy was done. Intrapericardial hydatid cyst should be kept in mind whenever it obscures the heart border and patient has features of cardiac tamponade. Early surgical intervention may be required in these cases.  相似文献

目的 在“药辅合一”理念下导入Pickering乳技术,提升儿科用药羚珠散中石菖蒲挥发油的稳定性。方法 对羚珠散各饮片粉末进行初步表征,确定稳定剂。通过成乳量、包油量和乳剂形态筛选出最佳稳定剂质量浓度、油水比和制备方法。并使用近红外光谱(nearinfraredspectroscopy,NIRS)分析石菖蒲油在Pickering乳中的包裹状态。比较不同时间下各组别挥发油的保有量、丙二醛和过氧化物的含量。再通过GC-MS分析其中成分的变化趋势。结果 筛选出珍珠粉作为Pickering乳的稳定剂,珍珠粉质量浓度为65 mg/mL,油水比9∶11为最优成乳条件,高压均质法为最优的制备方法,NIRS分析可知石菖蒲挥发油被珍珠粉包裹,Pickering乳液中没有形成新的化学键。对比各组在不同时间段下石菖蒲油的保有率和其中丙二醛和过氧化物含量,可知40℃放置1、3、8 h的Pickering乳剂相比于石菖蒲挥发油组有更高的保有率和更低的氧化程度。GC-MS分析结果表明,相比于石菖蒲挥发油组,Pickering乳组挥发性成分的稳定性显著提高。结论 在“药辅合一”理念下Pickering乳可用于含油固...  相似文献
