大学生性行为及性道德观发展研究

目的 了解当代大学生性行为及性道德观念的发展变化。方法 自制问卷，对全国9所高校的2000余名大学生进行调查，并用SPSS10．0对结果进行统计处理。结果 大学生性交行为发生率呈逐年上升趋势，且随年级上升而增加；大学生认可性交行为道德观的5个雏度，但各年级之间有差异；大学生边缘性行为和独自性行为发生率随年级显著上升，认可度也随年级增加而上升；大学生对同性性接触基本持排斥态度，但排斥态度则趋于下降。结论 大学生性行为和性道德随年级上升而明显变化，应加强学校教育和引导。     

The aniridia-Wilms tumor association: The critical role of chromosome band 11p13

The role of del (11)(p13) as a cause of aniridia, with and without Wilms tumor, is strengthened by demonstration of this chromosome aberration in 3 patients: monozygous twin girls, both of whom have aniridia and mental retardation and one of whom has a Wilms tumor; and an unrelated boy with aniridia and ambiguous genitalia. The break points defining the interstitial deletion for the twins are 11p13 and 11p15.1, while for the boy they are 11p1302 and 11p14.1. These patients and their karyotypes substantiate the critical importance of chromosome band 11p13 (or its hemizygous representation) in the development of aniridia and an associated Wilms tumor diathesis, as had been suggested previously (Riccardi VM, Sujansky E, Smith AC, Francke U, (1978): Pediatrics 61, 604-610).     

Chronic myelogenous leukemia with a complex Ph1 translocation in an XYY male

We encountered a 38-year-old Japanese male patient with chronic myelogenous leukemia (CML), whose bone marrow and peripheral blood cells during the chronic and blastic phases contained a complex Ph¹ translocation and an extra Y chromosome [i.e., 47,XYY,t(9;22;13)(q34;q11;q14)]. A karyotypic analysis of PHA-stimulated lymphocytes showed the constitutional karyotype to be 47,XYY. Thus, it was considered that CML with a complex Ph¹ translocation developed in an XYY male; such a case has not been reported, so far. A B-lymphocyte cell line with the complex Ph¹ translocation was established by the procedure of Epstein-Barr virus transformation. The presence of the complex Ph¹ translocation in the B-lymphocyte cell line suggests that some of the B lymphocytes in this patient originated from the CML clone.     

The biopsychosocial approach: Clinical examples from a consultation-liaison service

In this second of three articles exploring Engel's biopsychosocial model, five case histories illustrate how psychological factors, sometimes related to organic trauma or illness, may precipitate psychiatric conditions. The patients’ disorders, and their management by a consultation-liaison team, demonstrate the interaction of biologic, psychological, and social systems in assessment and treatment of disease.     

The feasibility and preliminary efficacy of early time-restricted eating on diet quality in college students: A randomized study

Meal timing is an important consideration when assessing health. The primary outcome of this pilot study was to examine the feasibility and preliminary efficacy of early time-restricted eating (eTRE) on diet quality in a sample of college students attending a large southwestern university. Cardiometabolic indices and anthropometric measures were also obtained. The study was planned as an eight-week intervention; however, COVID-19 necessitated laboratory closures that disrupted data collection at week eight. Hence, only data obtained at week zero (baseline) and week four were viable for analysis and are presented herein. Twenty-five healthy participants were randomized to the intervention group (eTRE) which consisted of a daily 6-hour eating window or the control group (CON) which consisted of a daily 16-hour eating window. Each week, participants were permitted one day off from their respective study protocol. Seventeen participants completed all aspects of the study, and diet quality data were obtained from one additional participant (n = 18). Preliminary findings indicate that the 6-hour eTRE protocol may be beneficial for weight reduction and for reducing energy-dense foods typically consumed during the evening hours or later at night. Future research should accommodate individual preferences with regard to the initiation time of the eating window while also providing evidence-based nutrition recommendations to improve diet quality.     

Breast-Conserving therapy: Experience of the breast cancer research group of Tokyo women’s medical college

Conclusion  We are morally obligated to select therapies which are maximally beneficial for patients. Promoting or discouraging the use of a particular treatment modality, such as BCT, should never be a consideration. To meet this goal, our society must establish guidelines as a part of comprehensive policy. The specialist system, launched under the auspices of the specialist system committee, will hopefully lead to further development of the Japanese Breast Cancer Society.

Amacrine cells,bipolar cells and ganglion cells of the cat retina: A Golgi study

Neuronal types contributing to the inner plexiform layer of the cat retina are described based primarily on light microscopy of Golgi-impregnated retinal whole-mounts. Cells have been characterized on morphological criteria that include dendritic branching patterns, dendritic tree sizes, cell body sizes and stratification of processes in the inner plexiform layer. Nine different types of bipolar cell, 22 different types of amacrine cell and 23 different types of ganglion cell can be distinguished using one or more of these morphological criteria. The significance of the different morphological types of cells is discussed, particularly in relationship to the functional bisublamination of the cat inner plexiform layer.
