Movement-related neuromagnetic fields from eight healthy human subjects were investigated in a Bereitschaftspotential paradigm. The three conditions studied were right-sided mouth, index finger and foot movement. The neuromagnetic field patterns corresponding to the motor field and the movement-evoked field I were analysed using a moving dipole model. For both components a somatotopic organization was found: the estimated dipole locations for the mouth were more lateral and those for the foot more medial than the estimated dipole positions for the index finger movement. With regard to possible clinical applications, e.g. non-invasive mapping of the sensorimotor cortex and studies of plasticity of the motor function, the present results suggest that the investigation of movement-evoked field I for the index finger condition is most likely to yield further results.  相似文献

AIMS: Overweight is common during late puberty in female patients with Type 1 diabetes. The aim of this study was to examine the change in body composition from late puberty to early adulthood in such female patients in comparison with age-matched control subjects. METHODS: Eighteen females with Type 1 diabetes and 19 healthy female control subjects were recruited for a case-control study at the age of 16-19 years (baseline). Six years later, 16 of the diabetic females and 17 of the control subjects were re-examined (follow-up). Body composition was assessed by dual energy X-ray absorptiometry. RESULTS: Body mass index (BMI) and fat mass index (total fat mass/height2) were significantly higher at baseline in the diabetic patients than in the control subjects (26.4 +/- 2.6 vs. 23.9 +/- 3.7 kg/m2, P < 0.05, and 10.0 +/- 2.4 vs. 8.0 +/- 2.8 kg/m2, P = 0.04, respectively). At follow-up, these parameters still tended to be higher in the diabetic group (27.8 +/- 4.9 vs. 24.6 +/- 5.7 kg/m2, P = 0.09, and 11.8 +/- 5.6 vs. 8.7 +/- 4.9 kg/m2, P = 0.05, respectively). BMI at baseline was strongly correlated to BMI at follow-up in both diabetic patients (r = 0.60; P < 0.05) and control subjects (r = 0.83; P < 0.01). CONCLUSIONS: Increased fat mass in pubertal girls with Type 1 diabetes seems to persist in young adulthood. This study emphasizes the need for new strategies to prevent the development of overweight during puberty in diabetic girls.  相似文献

To analyse the effect of concomitant cognitive or motor task performance on balance control in Parkinson's disease (PD), we performed a posturographic study in 24 PD patients and in 20 sex- and age-matched control subjects. Postural sway was measured with eyes open (EO) and eyes closed (EC) during quiet stance and during performance of calculation or motor sequence of thumb opposition to the other fingers. No difference of centre of foot pressure (COP) parameters was observed during quiet standing (either EO or EC) between patients and controls, but visual deprivation induced in both groups a worsening of postural stability. COP area was significantly increased in PD patients during dual task performance, whereas no difference of COP path and x-y axes was observed. The effects induced by the performance of cognitive or motor task were significantly more evident in PD patients with clinical evidence of postural instability (presence of prior falls in the history). This study demonstrates that dual task interference on postural control can be observed in PD patients during performance of cognitive as well as motor tasks. The balance deterioration during dual task performance was significantly enhanced in patients with history of prior falls. These findings have some implications for the strategies to be used in reducing the risk of fall in PD.  相似文献

目的对1例192Ir极不均匀外照射局部极重度放射损伤病人进行临床观察。方法系统观察了病变的临床过程和应用红外线热成像技术测定了损伤部位的温度变化。结果照射后2小时出现肢体麻木、抽搐,最早照后4小时出现红斑、肿胀,54小时出现水疱,第5天出现坏死和剧痛,最晚出现红斑、肿胀是照射后41天,47天出现水疱和糜烂创面。红外线热成像显示:损伤早期温度升高,水疱、坏死区和损伤后期温度降低,温度升高越早,损伤越重,温度改变区域与损伤范围相一致。结论大剂量极不均匀外照射放射损伤的初期反应早,放射病与局部损伤相互加重病情,症状先后不一,轻重不等,致残率高和疼痛剧烈,红外线热成像温度变化可以作为临床诊断的指标之一。  相似文献

The purpose of this study was to investigate the atrioventricular AV nodal physiology and the inducibility of AV nodal reentrant tachycardia (AVNRT) under pharmacological autonomic blockade (AB). Seventeen consecutive patients (6 men and 11 women, mean age 39 ± 17 years) with clinical recurrent slow-fast AVNRT received electrophysiological study before and after pharmacological AB with atropine (0.04 mg/kg) and propranolol (0.2 mg/kg). In baseline, all 17 patients could be induced with AVNRT, 5 were isoproterenol-dependent. After pharmacological AB, 12 (71 %) of 17 patients still demonstrated AV nodal duality. AVNRT became noninducible in 7 of 12 nonisoproterenol dependent patients and remained noninducible in all 5 isoproterenol dependent patients. The sinus cycle length (801 ± 105 ms vs 630 ± 80 ms, P < 0.005) and AV blocking cycle length (365 ± 64 ms vs 338 ± 61 ms, P < 0.005) became shorter after AB. The antegrade effective refractory period and functional refractory period of the fast pathway (369 ± 67 ms vs 305 ± 73 ms, P < 0.005; 408 ± 56 ms vs 350 ± 62 ms, P < 0.005) and the slow pathway (271 ± 30 ms vs 258 ± 27 ms, P < 0.01; 344 ± 60 ms vs 295 ± 50 ms, P < 0.005) likewise became significantly shortened. However, the ventriculoatrial blocking cycle length (349 ± 94 ms vs 326 ± 89 ms, NS) and effective refractory period of retrograde fast pathway (228 ± 38 ms vs 240 ± 80 ms, NS) remained unchanged after autonomic blockade. Pharmacological AB unveiling the intrinsic AV nodal physiology could result in the masking of AV nodal duality and the decreased inducibility of clinical AVNRT.  相似文献

The construction of a needle-shaped multiwire microelectrode is described. It can be made with simple mechanical tools. The presented electrode assembly consists of 12 insulated nichrome wires (core diameter 25 μm) which are embedded in epoxylite resin. The straight-cut wire tips are aligned lengthwise and have a relative spacing of 150 μm. Outer dimensions vary from 100 × 180 μm at the level of the 1st electrode channel, to 100 × 100 μm at the level of the 12th channel at the tip. The configuration of this electrode was determined by its application: the laminar analysis of evoked potentials in the cortex of the rat. However, the number of channels, the diameter of the (nichrome) wire which determines the surface area of these channels, and the channel spacing can be easily adjusted during construction to meet other experimental requirements, such as the recording of single-unit activity. The electrode which is composed of biocompatible materials is suited for the study of field potentials and multiple-unit activity, in both acute and chronic experiments, and can be used repeatedly. To demonstrate the performance of the electrode assembly, a depth profile of field potentials is presented, accompanied by the corresponding current source density distribution. The potentials were recorded in the somatosensory cortex of the rat following stimulation of the median nerve under ketamine anesthesia.  相似文献

脑电(Electroencephalography, EEG)和功能磁共振(Functional magnetic resonance imaging, fMRI)技术的结合,可以实现两者优势的互补,获得更加合理的源定位结果.本文报道的是一种将fMRI先验信息结合到脑电源定位中的新方法.在该方法中,先利用SPM方法计算获得fMRI的统计映射参数,然后将基于计算获得的统计参数构造的权矩阵结合到FOCUSS的迭代过程中,对脑电的反演提供具有fMRI先验空间位置信息的约束,提高脑电的源空间定位精度,从而获得更加合理的定位结果.通过对一形状知觉实验fMRI和脑电数据的结合定位分析,结果初步证实了改进方法能获得和生理更加一致的结果.  相似文献
