α-L-岩藻糖苷酶测定的临床应用

研究结果表明AFU测定对肝癌的诊断具有较高的敏感性和特异性，其价值优于AFP，两项指标联合检测可提高阳性检出率。动态监测有利于肝癌的早期诊断、鉴别诊断，并可作为转移、复发的指标，也可用于白血病及卵巢癌的诊断。     

Can bone metabolism markers be adopted as an alternative to scintigraphic imaging in monitoring bone metastases from breast cancer?

Bone scintigraphy plays a major role in the diagnosis of bone metastases. The clinical utility of new biochemical markers of bone metabolism has recently been investigated in various bone diseases. This study evaluated the role of some bone metabolism markers in comparison with bone scan in the follow-up of breast cancer patients. We studied 149 patients with breast cancer, 33 (22%) of whom had bone metastases. IRMAs were used for the evaluation of blood levels of osteocalcin, bone alkaline phosphatase (BAP), the C-terminal propeptide of type I procollagen and the C-terminal cross-linked telopeptide of type I collagen (ICTP). Multivariate regression analysis showed that menopausal status (P=0.007) and metastatic bone lesions (P=0.001) affected bone marker levels. When considering post-menopausal women, the only subset in which bone metabolism marker behaviour could be reliably investigated, we found a high degree of overlap in marker distribution for scan-positive and scan-negative patients. Discrimination between scan-negative and scan-positive patients based on the above markers, taken singly or jointly, was assessed by means of logistic discriminant analysis. The best discrimination was achieved with BAP, closely followed by ICTP. BAP and ICTP together gave a slight improvement over the use of the two markers separately. However, even in this case the degree of discrimination was poor and its clinical utility was limited. In fact, to achieve a specificity of 95%, the sensitivity of the test was about 20%; conversely, with a sensitivity of 95%, the specificity was below 10%. In conclusion, based on our findings, we believe that blood levels of the investigated markers cannot replace bone scintigraphy in the follow-up of breast cancer patients for the early detection of bone metastases. The pharmacokinetics of (125I) 3-deoxy-3-iodine glucose on experimental tumor modelsin Vivo

The dynamics of¹²⁵I distribution is studied in rats with induced tumors of the prostate and mammary gland for intravenous administration of¹²⁵I-3D-G. It is found that 80% of the activity is eliminated in the first 24 hours. A relatively high level of¹²⁵I accumulation is found in necrotically altered regions of the tumor. 四种含淫羊藿中成药中淫羊藿甙的含量测定

本文采用高效液相色谱法测定了四种中成药中淫羊藿甙的含量。以十八烷基硅烷键合硅胶为填料，柱温３０℃；甲醇－０．２ｍｏｌ／Ｌ磷酸二氢钠水溶液（磷酸调ｐＨ＝２．７）（５７：４３）为流动相，１ｍｌ／ｍｉｎ；检测波长为２６８ｎｍ，淫羊藿甙色谱峰形对称、分离度好。所测补肾强身片、龟龄集、壮骨关节丸和前列宁冲剂中淫羊藿甙的含量分别为０．１０５％，０．０９９５％，０．０５６６％，０．３１３％。     

Spontaneous regression of optic pathways gliomas in three patients with neurofibromatosis type I and critical review of the literature

Case reports The authors report their experience about three children (two girls, one boy; average age 1.6 years) with a spontaneous regression of optic gliomas. All of them had a previous diagnosis of neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF 1). None of them underwent surgery or biopsy nor received chemotherapy or radiotherapy. The complete regression was documented by MRI scans performed during a mean follow-up of 6.3 years.Literature review Moreover, the authors analyze the features of the 16 cases previously reported in English literature of spontaneously regressed optic gliomas with an overview of the different therapeutic strategies. The knowledge that this kind of tumor, particularly in young patients, may regress is important in the decision of the best therapeutic approach.

头孢噻肟钠聚合物测定实验条件的改进

目的:对中国药典收载的头孢噻肟钠聚合物测定条件进行改进。 方法 :采用高效液相色谱法 ,以Sephadex G- 10色谱柱 4 2 cm× 1.3cm对 6批样品进行分析 ,分别进样 5 0μl和 2 0 0μl,按外标法计算聚合物的量。结果:头孢噻肟钠在 10～ 6 0 μg/m l范围内线性关系良好 (r=0 .9995 ) ,高中低浓度的加样回收率分别为 10 0 .2 %、10 0 .4 %、99.7% ;RSD分别为 1.7%、1.5 %、1.9% (n =3)。该方法与药典方法比较 ,差异无统计学意义 (P >0 .0 5 )。 结论:本方法简便、快速、可行 ,具有实用价值     

Effects of neonatal bilateral eye enucleation on postnatal development of the monoamines in posterior thalamus of the rat

Summary Levels of dopamine (DA), noradrenaline (NA) and 5-hydroxytryptamine (serotonin, 5-HT) and their metabolites, and the activities of tyrosine hydroxylase (TH), tryptophan hydroxylase (TPH) and monoamine oxidase A and B (MAO-A and MAO-B) have been determined in the rat posterior thalamus after enucleation during postnatal development. DA and 5-HT turnover rate have been measured as 3,4-dihydroxyphenylalanine (DOPA) and 5-hydroxytryptophan (5-HTP) accumulation rates after central decarboxylase inhibition by 3-hydroxybenzylhydrazine (NSD-1015). The major changes were an increase in noradrenergic and serotoninergic metabolism in enucleated animals compared with control animals.
