Organizational learning is the process of increasing effective organizational activities through knowledge and understanding. Innovation is the creation of any product, service or process, which is new to a business unit. Significant amount of research on organizational learning place a central meaning on the fact that there is a positive relationship between organizational learning and innovation. Both organizational learning and innovation are essential for organizations to prepare for change. The aim of this study is to determine to what extent the identified learning organization dimensions are associated with innovation. The study used a quantitative non‐experimental design employing statistical analysis via multiple regression and correlation methods to identify the relationships between the variables examined. Because the research was conducted in a non‐experimental way, learning organization dimensions are referred to as predictor variables, and innovation is referred to as the criterion variable. Watkins and Marsick's Dimensions of the Learning Organization Questionnaire was used in the study. Questionnaires were distributed to 498 hospital managers and, 243 valid responses were used in this study. Therefore, 243 hospital managers working at 250 Ministry of Health (public) hospitals across Turkey participated in the study. Results demonstrate that there are significant and positive correlations between learning organization dimensions and innovation. Intercorrelations between learning organization dimensions and correlations between learning organization dimensions and innovation were average and high, respectively. Results further indicate that the dimensions of the learning organizations explained 66.5% of the variance for the innovation. Copyright © 2012 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

ObjectivesEarly assessments of health technologies help to better align and integrate their development and assessment. Such assessments can take many forms and serve different purposes, hampering users in their selection of the most appropriate method for a specific goal. The aim of this scoping review was to structure the large set of methods according to their specific goal.MethodsA scoping review was conducted using PubMed and reference lists of retrieved articles, to identify review studies with a methodological focus. From the included reviews, all individual methods were listed. Based on additional literature and examples, we extracted the specific goal of each method. All goals were clustered to derive a set of subclasses and methods were grouped into these subclasses.ResultsOf the 404 screened, 5 reviews were included, and 1 was added when searching reference lists. The reviews described 56 methods, of which 43 (77%) were included and classified as methods to (1) explore the nature and magnitude of the problem, (2) estimate the nature and magnitude of the expected (societal) value, (3) identify conditions for the potential value to materialize, and (4) help develop and design the type of research that is needed.ConclusionsThe wide range of methods for exploring the societal value of health technologies at an early stage of development can be subdivided into a limited number of classes, distinguishing methods according to their specific objective. This facilitates selection of appropriate methods, depending on the specific needs and aims.  相似文献

Local production of pharmaceuticals plays a vital role in maintaining resilience of national healthcare systems, especially when it comes to facilitating access to needed medicines and decreasing exposure to imports and international supply chains. Pharma is a research-intensive industry and the systemic lack of governance and support to R&D activities in this sector, among other host of related issues such as unsupportive regulatory regimes and human resources capacity limitations, is one of the major impediments to the diversifying of locally produced pharmaceuticals portfolio. In this review, an overview of the current pharmaceutical production system in Saudi Arabia, its major challenges, and proposed remedies to address them will be highlighted.  相似文献

背景地方政府创新的影响因素分析一直是地方治理创新研究的重要议题。目的探究影响地方政府县域医共体创新实践的因素,并分析其组合路径。方法于2021年3月,以中国医院协会医共体分会举办的第二届"寻找县域医共体实践价值案例"评选活动的初选结果为案例源,将"政策创新类型"作为结果变量(中央主导型创新/地方回应型创新=0,地方自发型创新=1),以经济发展水平、行政层级、地理区位、问题属性及平台作为条件变量,采用清晰集定性比较分析(csQCA)法,通过必要条件分析、充分条件组合分析,探究影响地方政府县域医共体创新实践的因素并构建地方政府县域医共体创新实践的影响路径模型。结果5个条件变量一致性均<0.9,即经济发展水平、行政层级、地理区位、问题属性及平台均不是地方自发型创新的必要条件。条件变量组合分析(基于中间解)结果显示,共得到5组前因条件组合,分别为:经济发展水平*~地理区位*平台,行政层级*~地理区位*平台,经济发展水平*问题属性*平台,~经济发展水平*地理区位*~问题属性*平台,经济发展水平*行政层级*地理区位*问题属性(*表示"且",~表示"非")。5组前因条件组合一致性指标均为1,原始覆盖率为0.14~0.43,净覆盖率为0.14~0.43,总体覆盖率为1。地方政府县域医共体创新实践主要呈现出两类模式,即平台型创新模式和动机型创新模式。结论若要实现高水平的医共体创新实践,应该关注政策与当地经济发展水平之间的强相关性,激活地方政府的主动创新意愿,以及加强对县域医共体的平台支持。本研究对于理解地方政府县域医共体创新实践的机理乃至地方政府创新都具有一定价值。  相似文献

目的分析创新管理理念下医院管理的方法与实践工作。方法对创新管理理念组和常规管理组进行回顾性分析,比较两组的医疗服务效果。结果创新管理理念组在医疗质量、医技水平、服务水平、就医环境、医风医德的总体评分以及医护人员满意度上均优于常规管理组。结论切合医院实际创新的内部管理理念,能够提升医院的服务质量,提高医院的竞争力。  相似文献

There have been many attempts to apply previously developed models of technology acceptance and the diffusion of innovations; however the models have weaknesses in predicting the behaviour of individuals and organisations, particularly within the complex health domain. The insights recent work on these models offer is relevant to health informatics development and innovation and need to be considered in the development of organisational strategies. This paper analyses the merits of several relevant models and explores their potential significance for the success or otherwise of health related Information Technology projects, highlighting their weaknesses in relation to the lack of differentiation between technological and human factors which limit their applicability in practice.  相似文献
